Great hotel overall -- great location, quiet, comfortable. I would skip the mediocre and expensive breakfast, for better choices 2-5 min walk distance. St Pite is brilliant!

Beautiful Central Saint Petersburg Hotel
Beautiful historic hotel right in the middle of Saint Petersburg. This 18th palace is an architectural gem and the lobby has to be seen to be believed. Service is excellent with all staff we encountered fluent in English. Our room was huge and tastefully furnished and the bed was very comfortable. Can’t fault this hotel, everything you could ask for. I would highly recommend this hotel

Thank you for follow up. I’d be glad to leave feedback. The first 2-3 days of the stay were amazing. I stay in a lot of different hotels on average 180 days per year, and this was probably in the top 5 I’ve stayed in the past 10 years, and I was going to leave 5 star review at first. I like it so much that I even booked an extra room for my mother in law to stay here as well over winter holidays with me and my wife. All staff was extremely pleasant and nice to us. Hotel is beautiful, historic with A lot of amenities, spa, pool, high end restaurant, etc. But then our overall experienced worsened after few unpleasant encounters with personal. First front desk was a little rude to my mother in law when she moved in to her suite and your door lock was not working properly. They tried to blame her for “de-magnetism” the key card by keeping it close to the phone. But after they switched half a dozen cards, they determined that the problem was in the lock itself, but failed to appologize, just moved her to a different room. Which is Ok. Then, the next day we booked sauna for ourselves and our friends. The hotel rules are is that if it’s more than 4 people (up to 8) the price is About double from 20k rubles for 3 hour session to 30k rubles if it’s more than 4 people. Because of the lock troubles the day earlier, we negotiate with the manager that our price will be 20k rubles even though we plan to have more than 5 people. When the spa day came, we ended up having 8 people in total i

Beautiful decor. Great bathrooms. Great location. Because it is a number of buildings including an old palace the layout is choppy. Very quiet lobby and bar because the restaurants on spread out. I love the swimming pool. Did I say I love the swimming pool.

Beautifully refurbished 18th Century palace with extraordinary attention to detail. The location is as good as it gets at the corner of the Moika river and Nevsky Prospekt. My suite overlooked the archway that leads to the Winter Palace. Staff were generally slick and professional. The only flaw in this diamond is the Lobby Bar. The setting of the bar is spectacular but the staff, attitude and even the selection of drinks seem to be out of the Soviet era. Bizarre and completely at odds with the rest of the hotel. I'm told that this problem will be dealt with and it's certainly not a deal breaker. I'll stay at the Taleon Imperial again.

Huge room, comfy bed in great location with an amazing breakfast buffet. My non-smoking room had a walkout terrace where previous guests had appeared to have dropped a few cigarette butts.

I chise this hotel to experience tur Russian feel for the place. It served its purposes. The location also was amazing. The decor of the place is beautiful yet it was little overwhelming for me and the rooms were like maze. Great hotel at a great location but be prepared to be overwhelmed. Clean and amenites were great. Bed was little too soft for me but my daughters liked it. Staff were helpful and efficient yet would like to see more friendliness and smile.

The recently renovated princess’s palace was amazing. The craftsmanship was second to none. The location was brilliant. We could stroll to all the major attractions. The staff were efficient and friendly There was nothing bad about the property and I would most definitely recommend it.

Quick and easy check-in. Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful hotel! Great location, easy walk to metro station, Hermitage Museum, and other attractions. Only drawback is that we stayed on a Thu and Fri night. Thu was quiet, but heard some thunderous bass coming from nearby around 2:00am.

Huge hotel, fler like a small castle. Some parts were a bit dated, the swimming pool was coming apart, but overall a nice stay.

Hotel Taleon Imperial is an old palace located right on Nevaky prospect . Perfect location in the heart of St Petersburgh, outstanding hotel definitely five star, extremely friendly staff paus attention to details, concierge Ana was fantastic helped us organize our sightseeing ahead of our arrival. Stayed here with my family for four days drom NYC amd would highly recommend it.

As an American family unsure about what to expect on our first trip to St. Petersburg, it would be difficult to imagine an experience more welcoming than we found at the Taleon. Communication in advance of our arrival was excellent, they supplied an extra separate bed for my son and upgraded our room for free so my wife and I had our own sleeping space. Service was excellent and everyone was happy to help us practice our Russian but use English without hesitation. Breakfasts were excellent and the rooftop restaurant cheerfully served us even at 11 PM when it was otherwise empty. Looking forward to returning here in the future!
