Отель достойный для 3 звезд, все есть. Номер-студия большой, есть кухонный уголок с микроволновкой, чайником и посудой, санузел с душем довольно просторный. В номере и в отеле в целом чисто и аккуратно. Завтраки без излишеств, но голодным точно не уйдешь. Расположение отеля, на мой взгляд, хорошее, не прям центр-центр, но до всего легко и быстро добраться, до Невского можно при желании и пешком дойти.

The room was clean but the facilities were old or broken and the beds weren’t comfortable. The location is good Breakfast was excellent. The service was a disaster...:-( We ordered taxi through the hotel when arrived to Saint Petersburg, but never showed up.... No one talked to us... We had a broken toilet, asked to fix it in the morning...returned at evening...didn’t happen.. Asked for the manager, told he will be the next day, I left a message, but he didn’t respond till now... Bottom line- big service problem...I won’t recommend this hotel to no one...

Palantin during Worldcup
Very convenient place Vs price, 5 mins walking from nearest metro station infront of a bus station, near from a very good prices souveniers shop, very helpful and cheerful stuff, breakfast is not very rich neither contain different items so actually we didn’t use much, but there is the most wonderfull bakery and cafe in the world just 3 mins walk from the hotel, room is above average with a very clean bathroom, which is enough for 3 friends watching the workdcup ,,,, Considered near from center and in same time not in the very jammed center. Overall a very cheerful experience

looked like a residential building from the front side and the way you enter it but i love everything else about this place. specious clean room with a fridge and tv . nice bathroom with hot water. post office and suoermarket a few min away. subway about 5-7min and the reception staff were friendly. sweet,cute... oh and very good breakfast. Thanks Palantin!

It is a nice hotel overall. The location is about a 10 minute walk to the metro (maybe 15). There is not alot going on in the neighborhood around there. It is short on restaurants and quality cafes. The staff speaks English very well, and they are nice. I felt bad for them working so many hours though. The hotel should not work people like slaves. The girl who checked us in around 1 was there when we came back from dinner, was there when we came back from the bar that night, was there when we woke up in the morning... I am talking like 19 hours straight of working or something. She still smiled and was pleasant. Kudos to the overworked staff there. I hope they get paid as much as they are worth to work crazy shifts like this. The hotel is through a courtyard gate near the Subway (chain restaurant) so it if nice and quiet in the hotel.

Trip to Saint Pete..My first stay
I stayed here for business purpose. Hotel is neat and clean however, doesnot offer dining services apart from breakfast. Room was very nice and staff is excellent. Bed was notgood and spring used to make noise while i sleep. Ambiance is good and hotel is located at a quiet place.

stayed here for 7 nights, great hotel for the price, rooms are big and clean, staff speak good english and are very helpful. Not exactly near centre, but takes around 10 mins to get there by metro of which there are 2 not very far from hotel; one 10 mins and one 20mins walk away. If u get hungry right next to hotel there is a Subway takeaway that is open 24hrs. Would defiantly stay here again.

Basic but comfortable
The Palantin is located within a private courtyard. Reception staff speak English and were always helpful. You pay extra for fast internet connection (100 roubles a day) and for registration (200 roubles for foreigners). Rooms are fairly basic but comfortable. The nearest Metro station is a 10 minute walk away.

Palatin hotel, St Petersburg
The photo of the front of the hotel is not the hotel but an apartment complex. The hotel entrance is through the gate in the middle which leads to a court yard with apartments on two sides and hotel on another . The hotel was clean and tidy, and all staff spoke good English and were very helpful with visa support and other enquiries. We had a family room which was of a good size with a double bed and sofa bed. Free wifi is available but I couldn't get a signal in every part of the room. Complimentary breakfast is available in a small seated area, best to go early as will not seat all guests at once, there is a reasonable choice with cereal, toast and more local produce. The area around hotel is a little run down but most of st Petersburg. Hotel is a 10+ min walk to metro, but if weather good can see different bits a walk to metro or were ever. We had are 2 & 14 year old children with us and never felt worried and all locals seemed friendly.we went in August and weather high 30s and take mosquito spray.

Overall, the Palantin Hotel was a great place to stay. It was very clean, the room was HUGE and comfortable, and the location was only a few minutes from a metro station, although it was too far to walk into the city center, it would have taken about an hour. The staff was very friendly and there was clean water provided in the lobby so you could refill your own bottles instead of buying bottled water continually. The bathroom was large and had a heated floor, which was really nice in the mornings. The price was great too. The only thing I was really disappointed in was the breakfast. It was god-awful, just bad coffee, wonder bread or dark Russian bread and jam (no butter) and a few odd choices like cut-up hotdogs, green peas, and canned corn. We only ate breakfast here one day and then got pastries from a bakery near the metro stop on subsequent mornings. Not a big deal, since the bakery was cheap and convenient, but breakfast was far below the standards of the rest of the hotel. The front desk was always open and was happy to book us a cab to the airport for less than half what we were charged to get one coming from the airport. Overall, I would still recommend the hotel and would stay here again.

Think twice before booking this hotel!
A friend and I booked this hotel after much debate. In the end, we book the Palantin due to what looked like a good location, good rates and the fact that is appeared to be new and modern. The only part we were right about were the cheap rates. The location is about 10 minutes walk from the nearest metro (Baltiskaya), but the neighbourhood around it is not great, particularly for two females going out at night. The hotel itself is located behind a gate and there is no lighting from gate to the hotel at night. The rooms were clean, but extremely outdated and cheaply decorated. We had a bath tub with a shower attachment that did not fit to the wall. Taking a bath in yellow water was hardly appealing. We also had a sink that leaked all over. I am fairly certain we didn't get new toiletries each day. The front desk failed to tell us the living room had a pull out sofa until one of our other friends staying in the hotel informed us of this. The staff was mostly unhelpful and tried adding charges to our bill, thinking we were someone else! Breakfast was pitiful. One type of cereal, undercooked meat, a bowl of peas, some stale cookies and a few other sad items. St. Petersburg is a wonderful city and this did not ruin our trip, although it certainly was not how we wanted to end it. We are in our thirties, so this hotel might work for students looking to really save money, although I think there are hostels that would be better located and better overall value.

Had a hard time finding the lobby. It was inside the courtyard, then through an unmarked door. The hotel staff registered our visas without telling us they were doing so, then charged us for it, even though we were spending only one night in St. Petersburg. The room, however, was impressive, with air conditioning and a 2-person jacuzzi tub (but no shower stall). Since we were leaving before breakfast was served, the staff kindly packed us food to take with us.

Приезжаю в этот отель постоянно. Очень большие, просторные номера. Тихо и спокойно, в отличии от больших отелей. Но, очень обветшал и необходим ремонт. И в номерах стало прохладно. Шведский стол очень скромный, но голодным не останешься.

Für einen kurztrip ist perfekt. Wir waren 8Tage, da hat man schon gemerkt, dass nicht immer alles gereinigt würde. Wenn es etwas zu beanstanden gab, waren alle höflich und hilfsbereit. Auch im englischen waren die Mitarbeiter gut. Das Frühstück war klein, aber im großen und ganzen ok. Das was frisch gemacht war wie ei und blinis war sehr gut.

Отличное настроение от проживания в данном отеле.
Очень отличное расположение(рядом метро, отель расположен во дворе). В моём номере для меня были приятные сюрпризы: электрочайник и чайный набор (чай, сахар, посуда), набор разной посуды, микроволновка и холодильник. Отличный бесплатный интернет. Сотрудники отеля приветливы и на заданные вопросы дают сразу ответ. Мне очень понравилось моё проживание в данном отеле.

Recomendable. Excelente.
Habitación era la misma de la foto, amplia, con sector dormitorio, living, y comedor. Siempre impecable, limpia. Cambio de toallas diario. El personal muy amable, hablaban ingles y español. El desayuno es excelente, muy completo y los platos calientes variaban. Lo único desfavorable era que la ubicacion con respecto al centro, aunque a 5 minutos caminando estaba el metro.volveríamos a alojarnos. Sobre todo por la calidad humana del persona, higiene, el desayuno, el tamaño de la habitac. La tranquilidd del hotel. Y la muy favorable tarifa en función de lo que ofrece.

Hotel je menší v klidné části,relativně blízko centra a stanic metra.Vybavení pokojů je standardní, ale již "mírně jeté".Pokoje jsou však čisté. Kvalita služeb výborná.Snídaně jsou méně pestré, ale dostačující.

Из пяти дней проживания два не было горячей воды (якобы подключали бойлеры). После первого принятия душа выяснилось, что течёт слив душевой кабины (затопило ванную комнату), устраняли два дня. Кабельное ТВ не работало, по традиции устраняли два дня. Завтрак с 8 до 10. Но если приходишь к 8-00, приходится минут 15 ждать когда подадут горячую еду. С учётом деловой поездки - это напрягало.

Об отеле Палантин
Отель не понравился. Заехал в отель 17 мая в этот день проходил финал ЧМ по хоккею, который я планировал смотреть по телевизору. Включив телевизор я обнаружил, что кабельное телевидение не работает, мои попытки его настроить ни к чему не привели, после чего я обратился к дежурному администратору которая сказала, что ни чем не может мне помочь. После я решил воспользоваться функцией бесплатного подключения к сети интернет для того что бы найти трансляцию, но бесплатный Wi-Fi оказался на очень низкой скорости, в итоге телевидение мне настроили только в среду вечером, т.е. на 3 день пребывания, но оно мне уже было не нужно. Горячей воды в гостинице также не было, так как отопление уже отключили, а бойлер еще не был запущен, бойлер запустили тоже только в среду, т.е. 3 дня я умывался холодной водой без возможности принять душ. Как я уже сказал раньше, заявленный бесплатный интернет на очень низкой скорости, даже стартовая страница Яндекса грузилась у меня по 3-5 минут, хочешь быстрее плати дополнительно. Еще из минусов теснота на кухне на завтраке. Завтрак с 8 до 10 часов так как в 8-30 нужно было уже выходить приходил на завтрак к 8-00 в итоге еще ничего не готово. Из плюсов только расположение гостиницы близко к центру, рядом набережная реки Фонтанки, до Исакиевского собора минут 15-20 идти пешком. В целом впечатления скорее негативное.

Думал далеко будет от тещи на Гагарина
Удобный отель если вам что- нибудь надо в московском районе . К этому добавляйте не высокую цену за сутки проживания и качество номеров . Заезжаешь на парковку как домой очень приятно но надо позвонить на рсппшн. По звонку сим сим отворяются мгновенно. Вообщем все что нужно вы услышали .

The location is great, close to the center and easy access to metro at a reasonable price. Nice staff and helped me to change my reservation since I mistakenly enter the wrong date, because my flight arrived at 23:20, I thought that I would stay in the next day instead of the night I just arrived.........anyway, they are so kind to help. (btw, also special thanks for the help desk at hotels.com very kind to liaise with the Palantin to resolve this, nice service) I reserved the small suite, very spacious and clean, with a small kitchen. The staff at the front desk are all helpful and provided me with direction to Winter Palace and other attractions. They also helped me to call taxi to and from airport.Breakfast is also not bad at all. Overall, nice boutique hotel at a convenient location.
