Second time in Casa Leto and another great stay. This time we stayed in one of the apartments (in the same building). Very clean and comfortable and no street noise as the windows overlook the yard. Check in and check out was great, and there is a connecting corridor to the main hotel so it was easy to tale our bags to storage on the last day before going for the evening train. Will definitely retrun to Casa Leto!

Casa Leto
The hotel I usually stay in wasn't available so I stayed at Casa Leto for the first time and will definitely return. I chose it from the recommendation in the Telegraph guide to St Petersburg hotels. The location is excellent - just around the corner from St. Isaac's Cathedral. Very convenient for transport with a metro station 2 mins away, and a bus stop just outside the building. Great restaurants and cafés in the surrounding streets. Classic period building with decorated staircase. Some might think it needs some redecoration but the faded grandeur adds to the charm. Our room was very large, high ceilings and a large bathroom with bathtub. Very comfortable and high standard of decoration. The buffet breakfast wasn't as big as in larger hotels but the coffee station is available for use all day. Staff were very friendly and helpful (with excellent English). Will definitely return. Recommended.

Quiet. Very centrally located.
Great location. Helpful staff. Quiet and cozy. We were able to walk to all the sights we wanted to see except Peterhof and Catherine's Palace.

Unique base for a special city
The description of this hotel on its website did not accurately describe room amenities which were a major factor in the decision to stay at the hotel. However, the staff at this cozy five room boutique hotel more than compensated for this initial disappointment. Breakfasts were wonderful and location fantastic. A great experience.

Great spot to stay in St Petersburg.
We stayed for 7 nights at Casa Leto. It has only five rooms but is very comfortable. The location is superb being only a five minute walk to the Hermitage and fifteen minutes to any of the major sites. The staff are very efficient and friendly and gave us lots of good advice about our stay including some excellent restaurant recommendations. When we arrived after a long flight from Australia they made us a lovely pot of tea with some biscuits which was really nice. The heated bathroom floor was lovely. They also organised the travel invitation to Russia and pickup too and from airport.

Nice hotel. Close to Hermitage and St. Isaac
Nice hotel but located at the 2d floor of a building. No elevator. So, you have to carry your luggage through the stairs. The building lobby is neglected and somehow weird. At night, you may enter the lobby with all lights off! The facilities are OK. Our Executive Suite bed was confortable. The location is wonderful. Walking distance to many spots like Nevsky Prospect, the Hermitage and St. Isaac church. The Personnel is very nice and very helpful. The breakfast is done to your request. Very good.

All is good in St. Petersburg
Our room was a comfortable size and the bathroom with heated floor was great. We chose our time and menu for breakfast, food selection was good. We were in walking distance to many of the sites, close to transportation and many restaurants in the area. Anna was a fantastic and helpful host!

Great Location to Popular Sites in St. Petersburg
Great location, walking distance to most popular sites in St. Petersburg (SPB). Large, clean rooms. Friendly, accommodating, English speaking staff. Free hot breakfast...eggs of any type cooked to order, cereal, juice, coffee. Coffee, tea and cookies upon returning to room at end of day. Comfortable room by European standards with bed and 2 sitting chairs. High ceilings with Baroque decorations. Hotel safe, but no room safe. Info@casaleto.com for local contact info. Only minor issue we experienced was poor water pressure in shower when many guests are taking a shower at the same time.

If you are looking for a quiet hotel that treat their guests like family and is walking distance to most of the tourist sites then Casa Leto is right for you. Don't worry about your first couple of steps inside the building that shared element space isn't a reflection of the condition of the hotel. Incredibly friendly and accommodating staff!

Perfect location, excellent hospitality
This 5-room B&B is a perfect base for exploring St Petersburg. It's within minutes of The Hermitage and St Isaac's Cathedral. Staff were friendly and could speak excellent English. Breakfast is cooked to order and can be served in the small common room or in your room. Tee or coffee was always offered when we returned after a day's sightseeing. The entrance is grim as the hotel shares it with the remaining apartments which are presumably still in private hands; but once inside everything is spotless. We had one of the suites which are worth the little extra.

Fabulous Small Hotel
Our room (4 Quarenghi) was smaller than some of the others but still very pleasant with a comfortable bed and good air con. My husband loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom. All the staff were really helpful and breakfast was enjoyable in the morning. The location was fantastic, really close to so many sites, restaurants, shops and safe to return to even late in the evening.

Charming hotel in heart of historic discrict.
The hotel is in an 18th building with wide stone steps that reminded me of the old hotels of Florence, Italy. The rooms have very high ceilings, comfy beds, big windows and heated floors in the large bathroom. The staff is gracious and very attentive. You really feel like a cared for guest in a private home. Hot tea and coffee at the ready and a wonderful breakfast.

A great St. Pete spot
Casa Leto is a comfy and charming small hotel. It is very convenient to Nevsky Prospekt and St. Isaac's cathedral, really everything in the downtown was walkable from here. The room was warm, cozy, and clean. We particularly appreciated the heated floors in the bathroom. The free cooked-to-order breakfast in the morning is a great perk.

What a find in St. Petersburg!
The hotel is like a secret gem in St. Petersburg. You ring the doorbell, climb the staircase that looks like that of an abandoned building, and then become transformed entering the world of hospitality on the second floor. The staff is friendly and helpful - I was offered a pot of tea, Russian-style, upon entry. There are very few rooms, each is unique and distinct - and they have beautifully high ceilings.

I was a guest in this hotel three years ago, and my stay was excellent; thus I have decided to come back and again I was absolutely pleased with this time experience. My booking was made through Expedia, however I had to communicate directly (via email) with the hotel manager to arrange for an airport meeting and transfer, which was promptly organised and provided. Staff in the hotel is very polite and helpful; adding up small pleasantries, like offering tea or coffee every time you coming back from walk.

Fantastic location and very friendly staff
This hotel is very close to all major attractions such as Hermitage and Russian Museum and also within walking distance from an underground station. The rooms are big and beautiful, the staff extremely very helpful (and nice) while breakfast is excellent. The hotel is in the second floor of a building which has seen better times, but once you have passed the rather common areas, the hotel itself is magnificent and really good value. The only problem I have was access to internet, which was very good in the lobby and breakfast but patchy in the room. I fully recommend this hotel.

Central boutique hotel
A unique place to stay in St Petersburg. Central to St Isaacs Cathedral and the Hermitage (both of which were the highlights of our stay) the hotel management were wonderful both in terms of arranging our invitations to stay/taxis to and from the station and airport and also in advising of good places to eat. The team were so accommodating - we arrived on the overnight train from Moscow extremely tired and in need of a freshen up and were absolutely delighted to be given our room and breakfast immediately upon arrival. The room was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location is great - we walked to all of the key sites. Very impressed in terms of price, quality and helpfulness. It certainly lived up to its reviews. Thankyou.

Great option for central St Petersburg
A boutique hotel with just a few rooms means that the level of personal service was great at Casa Leto, from the initial host invititation to allow me to apply for my visa, to the daily green tea and snacks after getting back in from sight-seeing. Being so central also means that there are plenty of food options nearby, and secure money-changing options (a bank just two doors down, with good rates).

I wish I could give 10 stars!!
From our warm welcome, we knew we chose a great hotel. Yes, the entry is off-putting, but once you go up the stairs and enter the actual hotel, you'll feel like you've entered a warm, friendly home. The staff are wonderful, from offering a choice of complimentary juices or tea every time you enter, to the nice breakfast (included), to helping you arrange a taxi, all done with a smile. We were not happy with room we chose (in the back overlooking a barren courtyard), and within minutes we were moved to a room overlooking the street. If you keep the window closed, you don't get street noise, which can be quite loud with the window open. The place was spotlessly clean, the staff was delightful, and we will definitely stay there the next time we visit. Be sure to have their scrambled eggs with ham and cheese. They also supply the bathroom with Moulton Bown toiletries. The location is perfect for walking to the Winter Palace (10 min) and most of the other sites in St. Petersburg.

Made our stay in Saint Petersburg truly special
As many people have commented, the facade of the hotel is unassuming to say the least. However this should not detract from the excellence of the establishment once you climb the curving stone stairs. Firstly, the location is excellent - near all the main attractions in the heart of the city. The rooms are pretty, if understated with individual furniture pieces and high ceilings. The rooms have cable TV and the bathrooms are clean and spacious with good sized baths and shower equipment. However, what really sets Casa Leto apart is the service. You really feel like you matter to the staff from the minute you walk in. From chats about your day, help with the language, booking taxis and restaurants...even fresh pots of tea and homemade cake every time we returned to the hotel, no matter what time of day. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff who were on duty while we were there (at least 5 different members of staff). The breakfast is also excellent, with tea, coffee, toast, croissants, porridge, omelettes and fruit juice. The staff at Casa Leto helped make our stay truly special. Highly recommended for a stay in Saint Petersburg.

Очень рекомендую для деловых поездок и для пар.
Великолепное расположение. Приветливый персонал. Очень чисто. Номера просторные и оборудованы новой мебелью и сантехникой. Не очень разнообразный, но хороший завтрак с тремя горячими блюдами на выбор.

Nice hotel in good location.
Nice, cosy room and extremely helpful and friendly staff. Location is goog with 500 m to the nearest subway station. Also the Mariinskyi theatre is close, and there are several Gergian restaurants nearby. If you want to have a heavy breakfast which carries you long in the afternoon, Casa Leto is not the best option, though.
