“Great Experiance”

We will definitely stay at this hotel again.The staff was courteous, attentive, friendly. Room was beautiful and clean and we loved sitting on our balcony watching the Beach. It was fantastic. Sat out on the beach and saw a dolphin and all sorts of birds as we drank drinks.The pool was pristine, the Tiki bar was relaxing, the staff were friendly and great drinks.I cant wait to go back there with my family.

“Wish we were still there”

Ongoing renovations are very well done. Lobby is beautiful. Our room had been redone and was quite nice. Wish the elevators would move faster than a snails pace but that's not much to complain about. Great experience. Glad they didn't tear down this building as was planned a couple years ago. We love this part of Florida and are glad the big money people didn't take this spot from us. We will visit again.

“great location”

The Best Western Sea Wake had a very friendly staff. The room was comfortable and clean. I hope to go back there again. Few things that I didn't like was, when asking for the Gulf view, our room was on the second floor and we could see very little of the water due to the palm trees. Higher up would have been great. Electrical outlet for blow dryer was worn out needed to be replaced, too loose to hold plug in on cord. Mexican food in restaurant down in lobby was nasty. Couldn't eat it!

“Very good experience....”

After reading some of the reviews for this hotel I was hesitant to make a reservation, but in the end I did. My stay was one of the most relaxing I have ever had. I was on the top floor with a wonderful view of Tampa Bay. One thing I liked was the quiet in the evening. Unlike being at a busy resort, after 9:00pm everything seemed to shut down and it was very nice. I was seeking somewhere to relax and to be able to write, and I found the perfect location. I will be returning again in the Fall & Winter.

The hotel was very clean and re modeled. The rooms have hardwood floors nice new beds. It has its own small private beach that was clean and nice. There's a bar in the lobby or you can sit outside and watch the boats go by. Saw dolphins early in the morning! If you want to walk to pier 60 you'll have to walk along the street a few blocks. Allow a lot of time to drive to hotel from Tampa itself, traffic on Clear water beach is heavy during the day. It took us almost 2 hrs from downtown Tampa to the hotel. Once you're there its worth it. Walk to Crabby Bills for a drink and food. Several good places to eat,drink and people watch. This hotel is at the far end of the island, near the bridge to Treasure Island.You can walk under the bridge and continue awhile on the beach. Would stay again.

“Very impressed”

The hotel has the best view in Clearwater Beach. The room I stayed in was very clean and the view from it was breath taking. The hotel has it own private beach, free parking and free wireless ( you will not find all those things anywhere in Clearwater Beach). In the evening we enjoyed sitting in a bar looking at DOLPHINS and in the morning we had excellent sunshine breakfest on the beach. The front desk staff was very friendly and knowledgable.I will be coming here every month to relax and spend some quality time with my family.

“The best hotel I have ever been to.”

I absolutely love this hotel. I would go back every weekend if I could. The front desk crew make you feel so welcome and they are very helpful in recommending activities. The bartenders are amazing. I have made a true friend. The location is perfect. I even recommended it to a few friends for honeymoons and anniversaries.

“Clearwater Beach Best Hotel”

I stayed at many hotels on Clearwater Beach but Best Western was the best one. The private Beach was just amazing,the room was clean and the view from the balcony breath taking.The staff was very knowledgeable. I'm coming back there with my wife for Valentines Day to enjoy our date on the private beach!

great gulf view room--best hotel beach on clearwater beach. walking distance to any attraction on the beach. we live locally and will definately stay at this hotel again.

“Excellent place to relax”

Excellent hotel...great service...located within walking distance to all Clearwater attractions. Unfortunately closing within a year so enjoy it while you can.
