“Great place”
Loved the private beach. Great place to totally relax and enjoy the sun. The beds are soooo comfy too. The Gondolier Restaurant across the street has the BEST Bruchetta anywhere.
“Beach paradise”
When booking online you never know what you will get. I was very surprised at the beautiful lobby when you walked in and the very friendly staff. There was a perfect outdoor dining spot with a small patio with tables and a small bar. The pool was good sized and had plenty of chairs for relaxing. There were two beach attendents that handled your every need from renting cabana's to getting you a fresh cocktail. Very nice resort and very happy with our stay. I would caution everyone though, the beds are soooo comfy you won't want to leave your room!! I saved all my info just in case we end up back in the area next year. Great hotel!

Beautiful private beach, beds were extremely comfortable, staff was very friendly especially in the outdoor restaurant/bar area.

The service was great and room was very spacious. I spent most of my time by the pool since I thought the $25 fee for a lounge chair on the beach was a little steep. All in all, a great place to stay. The private beach was quiet and the view was great.

The beach is on not directly on the gulf, but on a channel between the Inter coastal waterway and the gulf. Location is a short distance away from the tourist area near Pier 60. We liked the location to Sand Key and the restaurants there. The public park on Sand Key just across the bridge is very nice. The hotel itself is very clean. The pool was nice with a tiki bar next to it. Only draw back is chairs on the beach cost $25 a day and you are asked not to take any food or drink on to the beach that is not sold by the hotel. If anyone will be fishing there are locations near the bridge to Sand Key and bait at the local convenience store across the street. If you like to shop, there are shops within walking distance . Miniature Golf is up the street. Our room was wonderful. It had a sofa as well as a refrigerator and microwave. The balcony looked out over the beach and water . We were very pleased with the service we received from the friendly staff. My husband and I would definitely stay in this hotel again. We loved it.
“Sea wake beach resort”
2nd visit to this hotel. We booked 2 x kingsize beachfront rooms with Expedia and things went very smooth at the hotel. We had been forewarned that we'd have to pay an extra $10 per room for the 3rd person in each room plus $12 + tax resort fee for each room. We didn't have to pay either,they said we'd already paid it in the cost!! Was well pleased.. The "resort" fee is for parking and beach/pool towels. This hotel is on its own private white sand beach.Plenty of sunloungers.Swimming pool,very clean with tables & chairs or loungers.Toilets & changing facilities.Clean towels,as many as you need.Tikki bar.Cafe,inside outside seating. Staff (this visit) friendly and helpful. Fantastic views from our rooms.If you book a harbour view you will only see the carpark,present roadworks and the harbour thro' binoculars!I think they should make that clear on their advertising!It is misleading. Lots of eating places. This hotel is suitable for couples and families with babes in arms to teenagers.We were 4 adults,child 14 and child 7.Everyone loved it. You can't book in till 4pm and you have to leave by 12 noon but the hotel will still let you use all the facilities on your departure day.As our Grandkids didn't want to leave this was great cos they stayed a few extra hours in the pool and around the beach area.We just kept a set of clothes to change into.The hotel still provided the towels even though we had booked out at 12.
“Will never stay anywhere else.”
The hotel was beautiful. There were a few things wrong with the room. There sink was not working and they immediately moved us to a new room. The balcony light wasn't working in our new room and they wound up sending up candles to us. Not only did they resolve every issue, they were really nice in doing so. The view and the private beach were amazing. I don't think I'll stay anywhere else. The only other drawback was the room was very hot to sleep in even with the AC cranked. I think something was wrong with the AC. Even though it wasn't perfect, the experience at the hotel made up for everything. I have stayed at a few different hotels in Clearwater Beach and this was by far my favorite. They don't overbook, thus there are always chairs available at the pool and private beach. The restaurant service was great. I loved it, and the staff was just tremendous.
