“better second tome around”
We returned for our second honeymoon. We were there i3 years before. Staff polite, attentive to our needs, gave gerat advice on resturants. Room was comfortable, partial gulf view.
“Great Hotel and location”
Very nice hotel and beach resort. The chairs and umbrellas on the hotel beach are nice but a little pricey. The hotel has 2 decent size pools with a large bar in between. The hotel location is awesome with lots of great food and activities very nearby - all within a few blocks. Pier 60 is nice with quite a bit of vendors and street performer type entertainment in the evenings. There is a really great cafe right across the street for breakfast - the hotel restraunt is okay and they do offer full menu room service. .
“would come back”
Loved being on the ocean, they kept it up nice and clean every morning.
“Clearwater's best kept secret!”
The Clearwater Hilton is the ideal place to get away from it all. Service and professionalism is their top priority. Anything you need....they provide. It's a great spot for both families traveling with children of all ages and couples trying to get away from the hustle and bustle!
“Great hotel in perfect location for families”
We had never stayed in Clearwater Beach and were just looking for some place nice that was directly on a beach where we could relax for a few days. We have two boys (7 and 5) who love the beach and pool. This hotel was very nice and there were many families there with young children. All of the hotel employees that we interacted with were extremely friendly and went out of the way to make sure we had everything we needed. Just an example: my son bought a toy that we needed a screwdriver to get out of the box. We asked the front desk and they sent up the handyman to take the toy out for us. The rooms are very modern and look like they were recently remodeled. I read the negative reports about the air conditioners being loud. We had a balcony overlooking said air conditioners and yes, they are loud (when you are on the balcony). But you cannot hear them from your room because you most likely will have the AC on in your room and the sliding door closed. Their private beach was also very quiet and clean. And you can order food from someone that comes around on a 4 wheeler.
“Great place for a vacation”
The hotel was clean but could use a little attention to dusting. The room was very pretty and the bed was comfortable if you don't like your bed firm. The staff couldn't have more friendly and helpful. We only needed the car to go places like dining and going to the store to get items like water. The breakfast in the hotel can use some help. If you eat oatmeal and don't mind paying $18.00 for it than you're in good shape here otherwise go some other place for breakfast. Everything you need is right there. Pier 60 is next to the hotel and is a good source of evening intertainment. All in all, we had a great time. We'd go back again if we pick to vacation in Florida. If you have a car, parking is free!
“Very Comfortable Place to Stay”
We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton very much. The room was cozy and very clean. The bed and pillows were excellent. We had a very pleasant stay and will diffently return.
“excellent experience”
very clean hotel, all the amenities, staff was very accommadating, room service was effecient, food portions were huge
“Just what I was looking for!”
The hotel was in a prime location right on Clearwater Beach! The pool, with free towels, was idyllic! There was a liitle bit of refurbishment ongoing but we were not disturbed by it at all. We didn't dine in the hotel at all as the prices were much higher than the local bars/restaurants/diners. The room was of a high standard, clean and well equipped. Would have no hesitation in recommending, or returning to, this hotel
“Perfect Location! We'd stay here again in a heart beat!”
Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort was the perfect location! Located right on the beautiful white sand beach, next to Pier 60, you cannot get any closer. In the evening, Pier 60 had vendors selling their jewelry and art, and the circle area had a variety of entertainers that performed by guitar, street dancers, a fire eater or Captain Jack Spero! Alot to do especially if you have children or teens! Hilton has the best soap products! Their housekeeping was wonderful, their front desk staff is knowledgeable! Each room has a walk out balcony. The hotel has two pools, a jacuzzi, and two outside bars! Nice afternoon delight - they came around with frozen grapes on a stick at poolside! The computer printers were not working, but the office space is fine. There is a small workout facility on the 3rd floor. You get what you pay for. The middle rooms all hear the air conditioning untis (just a poor design), but you still see the beach! The perferred side is the South Side (but will cost more). We traveled during Easter Break so every room cost considerably more. Unfortunately, during our visit, our air conditioning unit broke (2X) and could not be fixed on our last night. We had the outside door open and heard the garbage trucks at 6:30 am. This is the perfect place to stay! There is a larger hotel down the road - yet you will not be next to the nightly entertainment (important if you have kids)!
