“Perfect for the Price”
Very clean and I am picky! Not the best view from the partial gulf room but that is my only complaint. High end toiletries, great pillows, and very clean carpet. Check in was extra friendly and efficient. The valet was very inexpensive and the attendant greeted us with a smile. Would there are many places to eat and drink in a wide array of prices just outside the hotel.

“Perfect place on Clearwater Beach”
Great staff and location. This hotel is nice, because it's right on the beach and next to Pier 60, convenient to all the little shops downtown. It's the perfect place to stay if you want to take part in the sunset festivities on the pier, a few short steps away. Staff was warm and friendly.

MY SON,8 YEARS OLD WAS CRYING,BECAUSE HE DID NOT WANTED TO LEAVE THE HOTEL,THE BEATIFUL BEACH WHILE HE WAS SWIMMING WITH A DOLPHIN,EVEN WITH A BROKEN LEFT ARM. BEST HOTEL FOR KIDS AND ADULTS.
“Classy Hotel on the Beach”
We loved the Hilton - it was almost like a resort. The Hotel has a huge white sandy beach (not just a few grains of sand like others nearby)with Tiki Bar, volleyball, lots of activities, a fishing pier, kids park next door. Across the street you can go on a really cool Pirates cruise, or dolphin cruises, which the kids will love. Of course they have their own outdoor pools, jacuzzi, bar and grill. This hotel is CLEAN. No mold smell like other ocean front hotels. Service was IMPECCABLE. Not unusual to have 2 people helping you at any given time. The drinks at the tiki bar and indoor bar are out of this world and you can really taste the liquor. Our only dissatisfaction was that they charge $10 a day for wireless internet access, even if you bring your own laptop, but they do have a secured firewall so I guess it's worth the peace of mind. We can't wait to go back.
“Charmless Clearwater - nice hotel”
We had four nights here at the hotel with a great view over the gulf and fantastic weather. The hotel staff were superb and couldn't do enough to help and make us welcome. Our only gripe was the air con unit in the room which was noisy and couldn't be turned off. That kind of made it hard to sleep. Although described as a resort hotel, this is just a hotel. It's right on the roundabout in the centre of Clearwater beach so is very easy to get to and find. But anything that you want to do, other than swim in the pool, is an additional charge. Beach umbrellas and sun beds - extra charge. And I don't know what else the resort was supposed to be offering. We were there over Spring Break so the place was very busy and since Clearwater itself lacks any kind of charm, the only thing that we felt was going for the place was the beach. But since the beach is fantastic, then that was not a problem. This Hilton is nothing nice to look at, in a holiday town beach front road side location. Like all hotels in Clearwater it's expensive and all you get for your money really is a room - in our case with a fantastic view! The hotel staff really did work hard to make our stay a good one though. All of our encounters with them left us thinking that this was a team who really wanted us to enjoy our stay. Absolutely excellent. Rooms on the back of the hotel have a main view of the roof tops of the shops with their air con units (not at all attractive) and then a glimpse of marina in the background.
