Location was only thing good about it. Rooms are disgusting the vents were black ceilings were leaking and the bathroom was full of rust. We had a patio room and people were banging on our patio door trying to get in all night. Had to leave early because the weather closed the pool and ocean and didn’t get a refund. Think my two year old got sick from the room because of mold. I Will not stay there again.

Even though property is a little outdated as far as rooms and hallways it is extremely clean. Beds were comfortable and had plenty of room. The view of the ocean was beautiful. Good choices were excellent in the restaurant and so was the outdoor tiki bar was great. Staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant.

Our room cost total $450/night by the time the fees and taxes were added to the $337 rate. What a joke. This is maybe 2 star property at most. Our room had a broken lock. Someone had to come let us into the room whenever we went iut. The drawers were broken and the furniture was ancient. Bulbs were burned out. The a/c dripped into the room. The rug was filthy. Some metal vent cover banged incessantly whenever the a/c was on. No housekeeping for three days. They just hung a do not disturb sign on the door and dumped sheets on the floor outside. The pool deck is painted and the pain is peeling everywhere. That this place charges a "resort" fee is insulting. It is a dilapidated hotel that the owner is just milking for every penny from unsuspecting guests. St. Pete's Beach is not nice enough to make up for this disgrace. Go elsewhere. You will be glad you did.

5th time staying here- I love it because it’s nothing huge or busy, and has easy access to the beach. I loved staying on the first level poolside as well this year! Yes, the hotel could definitely use some updating with decor, so that is the only negative (the interior color scheme and carpet in particular).

Housekeeping knocked on our door, we advised we didn't need anything, however, we left and came back to our room it was apparent they had come into our room while we were gone as the TV was on which was not us. It was apparent it was staff as neither one of us left it on plus it was on a different channel. Was kind of worrisome that staff was in our room without us bein there after we said we didn't need anything. There really isn't any activities to do when the weather is poor.

Beautiful beach. Pool area very clean. Liked the $15 daily credit and 2 free drink tickets. Flippers food, drinks and service were good. Also loved the cabanas. Room 368 smelled old, old decor needs updated. TV didn’t work although they did offer to come fix( it was at night when everyone was showered so we said no)Plug in changing area wouldn’t hold a plug. We had to also retrieve new bath towel sets as they were never replenished. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

I thought the facility was very nice. We had a great time the only disappointment was trying to get into the restaurant. There was a long wait & there were many many tables available so we just went elsewhere instead of waiting. Maybe need more staff in the dining room.

The Dolphin is just perfect for our needs. A huge pool, hotel is right on the beach, Flippers bar has a nice selection of food (though it took a while between ordering & receiving dinner). The staff was great throughout the hotel - Tony at check in was welcoming, friendly and very efficient; Jim at Flippers bar was really nice, great with all the customers and took care of everyone with ease; the housekeepers were sweet and made sure we had everything we needed.

Took three hours after check-in to actually get us into our room. The front desk staff was very pleasant and couldn’t do anything for us which was extremely frustrating. We asked to speek to the hotel manager “Brittany, but she wasn’t there and there was no one else to speek to. They said the reason was it’s spring break, but said that housekeeping wasn’t lacking. If you say 4 PM, then check us in at 4 PM.

Loved the beach and pool area and the fresh fruit infused lobby water. The free food and drink were a very nice perk. Very disappointed when requested caffeinated coffee for room and was told did not have any because old people were drinking all the caffeinated coffee and not the decaf… I’m one if those people!

The property was perfect in relation to the beach access. The bar was close to the beach. The beach servers were terrific!! Marisa was absolutely terrific and the bright spot for this hotel. The other bartenders were rude and I felt like I was disturbing them. The food at the hotel restaurant was just ok but nice there was an option on site. The pool was beautiful and warm but closed at sunset unfortunately. The rooms were average and clean. No issues with the room. Dated but well appointed with fridge and microwave. The young gentleman at the front desk was nice. Parking was fine. $50 resort fee was a bit much but direct beach access was well worth it. Had a fantastic Henna tattoo session courtesy of the hotel. I just left feeling underwhelmed by the workers attitudes. They acted like they didn’t care if I was alive or dead, ordering or not. The last bartender actually put my limes in my hand. All in all, the room was comfy and I slept well.
