“Will try to go back time and time again”
Just off the main drag on Clearwater Beach, our room had a little balcony perched right over an inlet. Could have reached up and grabbed a pelican if I were quicker. Staff terrific, from manager through chambermaids. Clean, inexpensive, quiet, simple, dependable and just as promised.
“Not a full-service hotel, but an intimate condo building”
Terrific! I had a one-room unit with king, fridge and microwave and a patio facing the bobbing boats in the marina. Daily maid service and a friendly and helpful front desk were all I needed. And, parking was free!
“No frills - quiet and comfortable”
There's a quaint charm to the hotel, which is off the strip and tucked away on a street a few blocks past the "No Motels" sign posted by the police station. But short of unruly fellow guests, it guarantees a quiet and relaxing stay that was very much what was needed. The hotel desk is open limited hours, but they have a sister hotel (the Holiday Inn) a mile or two away for emergencies or problems. There's no internet access - only your own dial-up account, which is going to cost you phone charges even if it's local - so if DSL/Wi-Fi is a must - this wouldn't be the place. If calm, relaxing, quiet on the marina in walking distance of restaurants, beaches, pharmacies, police station, etc. is what you need - I'd definitely stay here again.
“Looking forward to being there again.”
The Chart House offers a wondrful clean large size room for less than the large chain hotels. I will stay there anytime I am in the area. We travel a few times a year and we were very impressed with the charm of the room and with all of the extras provided like the iron and ironing board. Definitely enjoyed the balcony looking over the marina in the evening. And Rose at the front desk was very helpful.
“Very happy with this hotel”
The people and staff were very nice. We had nothing to complain about. Great location, great place to stay for a short time or an extended period of time. Great value, definately worth recommending.
“Great stay for the price”
Overall our stay was great! The rooms could use some updating. We never went to the pool duting the stay, so I can not comment on that. All the staff was friendly adn very helpful.

BEAUTIFUL AREA... walking to the near restaurants.... beach is a little bit away. However the area is perfect and quite.
“Great value in a small hotel”
I stayed here with family over New Year to attend a Bowl game. Everyone agreed the hotel was clean, comfortable and in a good location. The staff was very friendly, and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is on the Marina, but an easy walk to the beach. Amenities included in-room coffee, refrigerator, microwave, and free Wi-Fi. There was a pool, but I did not use it. The room had sliding doors to a balconey which over-looked the Marina. If you don't need to stay right on the beach, the Chart House provides a great value in Clearwater Beach. I would definitely go back.

If you are checking in late, be sure to get instructions. The office is not open late hours. Other than that, our stay was great. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. Great place for a quiet and relaxing stay.
“Quaint Hotel on the Bay”
Room was very nice and clean with a great view from the balcony. Bath and Body Works soaps were a nice touch. We liked that it was on a quiet street without a lot of traffic. Only complaint was that there was no TV remote. Good walking distance to the beach and restaurants as well.
