Guests have access to the public beach on the Gulf of Mexico side of this Treasure Island resort. Two lap swimming pools are available—one adjacent to the eight-story building, one at the three-story wing. A spa tub is located by the pool near the front office.

This beachfront hotel comprises a three-story, a four-story, and an eight-story building with elevators. All 164 rooms at Bilmar Beach Resort feature pool, beach, or gulf views. Rooms offer two decor styles of white-wood furnishings with blue and yellow accents or dark-wood furnishings with green and gold accents.
Amenities include flat-screen LCD TVs, complimentary wireless Internet access, and electronic in-room safes. All rooms include coffeemakers, refrigerators, and microwaves along with hair dryers. Some rooms also provide kitchenettes with two-burner cooktops, granite-topped counters, and dishes. Rollaway beds are available on request.
Guestrooms at Bilmar Beach Resort are nonsmoking.

Dining
Sloppy Joe's - This 11,000-square-foot restaurant and bar is a franchise of the popular Key West restaurant, with a two-tiered deck for watching the sunset. It serves appetizers, salads, sandwiches, entrées (Jumbo Lump Crab Pasta, Macadamia Nut-Crusted Grouper, steaks, and shrimp), and desserts, including Key Lime Pie. A children's menu is available. Live entertainment is presented nightly in season, with folk, rock, and steel-drum bands. Open for lunch and dinner.
Bazzie's Beach Bar - Serving light fare, tropical drinks, and other beverages, the bar is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Located directly on the beach next to an outdoor pool. Live entertainment on weekends.
Recreation
The beachfront hotel has two pools, a sundeck, a spa tub, and a small fitness center with cardio and strength training equipment. Directly in front of the hotel is the beach, where guests can play volleyball (equipment available at the front desk) or indulge in water sports.
A 1-mile-long beachside fitness trail extends on either side of the Bilmar Beach Resort, allowing guests to explore the Treasure Island beach. Bicycle rentals are available nearby as well. Dolphins frequently swim through the Gulf of Mexico and can be spotted from the resort. Commercial dolphin-watching boat cruises can be arranged through the front desk.

“Such a beautiful room and good service!”
I think this is the best high rise motel on Treasure Island!! The Kite Festival was there and the view and the sunset was beautiful!! Loved the room which was equipped with everything we needed. We loved Sloppy Joe's too!
“Wonderful staff, clean room and comfortable room”
What a wonderful stay at the Bilmar!! This was our first stay and it will definitely not be the last. Rooms were nicely decorated and we had a nice view from our 4th floor balcony. Cleanliness is always a must and there were no issues in our room. We stayed in a gulf front studio with balcony. The room was located in the 8 story Palms building. The staff at the Bilmar were very friendly and helpful. We did not use the pools but they both looked very plesant. The beach was great and also kept clean. Location is also wonderful with many shops and restaurants nearby. John's Pass is only about 5 minutes north of the hotel. We would recommend this hotel to all of our family and friends. Go and enjoy the beauty of the Gulf!!
“I would recommend Bilmar”
My two college-aged sons and I spent a Spring Break week getaway and have a very nice stay at Bilmar as our home for a week. Upon arrival, they accommodated my earlier request to upgrade to a beach side room vs. poolside. Staff was easy to deal with throughout the week. I would recommend Bilmar to others.

“Fabulous oceanfront hotel”
We had a fabulous oceanfront room which was clean and exactly what we were looking for in a hotel. The laundry service we used was fine and efficient. The staff was very helpful and courteous, especially Shauna Ramsey at their front desk. We LOVED the 2 heated outdoor pools and even dined at the hotel's restaurant, Sloppy Joe's, twice since both the food and service was excellent! I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel.

This was our 4th time staying here. We love the hotel, it's very clean and well maintained. There are 2 restaurants on the property and more within walking distance. Great hotel for kids of all ages as well as adults. Beautiful area and very nice beach.

Will be back next year and will stay longer 3 days not long would liked at lest 5 days didn't know at time of booking that it would be so nice staf very friendly and room very clean

Friendly and fast check in service. Accommodated all requests. Pools were clean, the hot tub lovely.. The hotel was clean and well kept. Ate at both on site restaurants, they were excellent. The beach is spectacular and acess is easy.
“Excellent Value”
I can't say that this is a new hotel, but it is clean, comfortable and convenient. It's also a great value for the money. My room had a balcony as well as a full kitchen. The location is desirable, because it is a beautiful stretch of gulf beach, and still conveniently located to allow access to North or South Pinellas county as well as a straight shot down Central Avenue/1st Ave to downtown St. Pete or I-275 to Tampa or Sarasota. Sloppy Joe's has good food too. Also free wireless.
