Fantastic setting next to the beach, superb helpful staff always trying to help. Don't ever forget the afternoon tea, we always rushed back to this! The sandwiches and cakes were to die for! The gardens are awesome, just truly tropical with the occasional hint of mongoose, hummingbird and monkey!

Almond Beach Resort All- Inclusive

"Super hotel located by the best beach in Barbados"
Almond Village Beach resort is situated on Heywoods beach on the West Coast of Barbados Characteristic of this mile long stretch of beautiful fine white sand is the turquoise coloured ocean together with mature overhanging native trees providing much needed shade. Romantics,I guarantee will be in their element during a walk along this paradise bay. Almond Village architecture has withstood the test of time with its beamed open loft style design in the main reception areas complimented with 3 fine dining resturants. The food you will find to be a combination of a la carte and buffet style.Beautifully presented by smiling staff and top chef at the helm providing mouth watering dishes which you would see on the menu of any quality eaterie. It really is a hotel on a Village designed theme with several structures with their own pools and individual names such as Pringle Village. The trees and shrubs are wonderfully mature providing this resort with a handsome exterior clothing of greenery made up of majestic shrubs trees and exotic plants which proudly display their leaves and flowers. All this complimented by the sight and sound of many elegant water features which are situated along the full length of the inner courtyard. The pools are several in number, cleaned meticulously and safe to use,the gym and tennis courts and golf are for the active guests. Finally the rooms, decked out in dark wood fittings, minimalistic but superb quality, well designed, elegant upholstery.

Sugar Cane Club Hotel And Spa - Adults Only

"Wonderful Carribean inland setting"
The Sugar Cane Hotel is in an idyllic peaceful, luxuriant setting, and it is just minutes away by complimentary bus from a lovely beach which fronts a sister hotel whose facilities, including meals and drinks, are freely available daily to all-inclusive guests. Visitors therefore can get a doubly enriched experience. You will feel cosseted by a friendly and attentive staff and the" home from home" feeling is further assured by the fact that the Hotel is small in scale. Rooms are thoughtfully and delightfully appointed to serve domestic comforts Yet its size does not prevent it from offering a range of services and facilities. Variety is also a feature of the food on offer, whose appeal is invariably enhanced by a carribean touch. If you want to relax and unwind, then body, mind and spirit can hardly be better served than by this Hotel. The only trouble is too many people will read this review !

"Great villa close to Mullins beach"
We stayed at Battaleys Mews for a week and were very happy with the overall experience. I recommend hiring a car as it's the easiest mode of transport to getting around. It's a 5 min walk to the beach and on our way we were greeted by lovely locals. There is a 24hr gas station at the end of the road which is very handy. Our tv wasn't working for the first 2 days but the helpful staff got to the bottom of it and was fixed in due course. Highly recommend.

"Very nice, secluded hotel close to beach"
Whilst this hotel is about an hours drive from the airport, Bridgetown and the tourist nightlife, it more than makes up for it with it's quiet, peaceful location and the friendliness and quality of it's staff. If you want to visit different locations around the island you will need to hire a car (for an adventure, try the bus services - quite an experience - but try to avoid school in & out times unless you want to experience being a sardine). Navigating in Barbados is not the easiest thing in the world. Graham, Trevor and the rest of the staff are very friendly, helpful and courteous and the hotel, grounds and suites are clean and well maintained. We stayed in a 2 bedroomed suite which had all the facilities necessary to holiday as we pleased. There is an excellent restaurant - The Fish Pot - located across the road and directly on the beach, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner - try the Fish of the Day. You may well see monkeys and hummingbirds when swimming or sunbathing by the main pool and there is a second smaller pool if the main one is too busy for your liking. The beach is small but beautifully formed with sun loungers available as well as water sports and water taxi services. All in all we had a wonderful holiday at a great hotel.

"Luxury Apartments Barbados - St Peters Bay"
Great holiday with the family , lazing around the pool ,swimming in the nice warm sea - complementary boat trips during the day to swim with the turtles . Really good complementary wifi in the rooms and on the private beach. The Resort Manager "Jeff" was really nice , as was his concierge Charlene and the Gazebo bar manager Gilbert and Franz ( he's great fun guy , full of positive energy ) . When we'd had enough of relaxing either Franz or Rico ( another great guy) took us to nearby restaurants and to pick up food supplies . The Yacht Club at Port St Charles was well worth the visit, as was the Lone Star restaurant which we regularly visited as it was up market for us adults , whilst also had a great kids menu for our young children. What was also good was the readily available use of jet skis from Sebastian at $75 US per half hour ( great fun and half hour chunks worked out just fine when in need of an adrenalin boost ). Complementary use of the resorts paddle boards was great fun also ( the kids had great balance - unfortunately my balance not so good , so I stuck to using the resorts canoe and kayak which I found much easier ) . There was also a platform out at sea that we would swim out to daily and then rest whist laying on the floating platform - "most relaxing". The best thing of all was meeting Will Smith ( yes , " Will Smith " ) at the St Peters Bay resort , meeting him was just so great as my family and I are huge fans of him :-)

    St. Peter Hotels Guide

The crowds thin further up the west coast in St. Peter parish. Locals and tourists alike enjoy Mullins Beach, also a favored place to watch the sunset. The island’s northernmost spot, the Animal Flower Cave, is a short drive from St. Peter. The cave is filled with flower-shaped sea anemones. Also nearby is the Barbados Wildlife Refuge. Its mahogany forest is home to the island’s green monkeys.
