“Nice place!”
Our room was very nice and we had no problems. The desk person gave us great directions to the Mall of America. No free continental otr stale danish in bag but we had a good breakfast in the restaurant. Nice for the price.
“Central Twin Cities”
Very nice mid range complex tucked into a industrial/residentail neighborhood at almost the center of the Twin Cities. Shopping, restaurants close by. Convenient access to everything. Pleasant and helpful staff.
“Very good hotel”
It was clean, very clean actually. I was in Days Inn in Orlando once and it was horrible. But this one was different. Very clean rooms, very neat. Only jacuzzi didn't work at that time, otherwise, I would advice this hotel to my friends.
“Much Improved!!!!”
This hotel is clean with large, pleasant rooms, knowledgeable and helpful staff, a lovely pool area, convenient parking. There is a restaurant/bar attached which provides room service and even though the weather outside was frightful and patrons were all forced to remain indoors, there was no interference from noise, etc. I'd highly recommend this hotel now that it has been updated!
“very impressed”
I was very impressed with all the upgrading that was taking place. The rooms were clean everything was just great. The staff was very friendly. The location was just perfect for my trip to St. Paul. I would diffinately stay there again.
“Very nice.”
The room was very clean and large for the price. We had an outside door access to the parking lot, which helped in unloading and reloading. Only had one issue with the coffee pot....it didn't work correctly, but they had coffee in the lobby. We would definitely use this hotel again.
“Need A Place To Stay in Town”
Is what it is: a dependable no frills 80's era Day's Inn that's well kept and reasonably priced. Really accessible to U of M, Hamiline University, College of St. Thomas, St. Katherine's, and Macalester College. My recommendation is for when you need a stay in the heart of town or you're going to catch a train the next morning. Depot is two blocks away. Industrial part of town, but safe and not scary.
“Handy place for a good night's sleep.”
We needed a place in the Midway district between the U of M and the Capital where we could get a good night's sleep. The room was fine for our purpose. We liked having an outside door to our truck and an inside door by which to reach the hot tub. The kingsized bed was very comfortable and had reading lights on both sides, which is critical to us. The only odd thing was that the sink was plumbed backward, so hot was on the "wrong" side. Soon it will be right on the light rail line from St. Paul to Minneapolis.
“Inexpensive State Fair lodgings”
I chose this motel because of its proximity to the State Fair grounds. It's not within walking distance, rather a short drive to the Fair. The lodging is very decent. The pool area is very nice, with nonslip flooring. I found this helpful with very small, busy children. The staff was attentive and friendly. The restaurant, attached to the lounge, can get very noisy, so if you want something quieter and more family friendly, you might wish to dine elsewhere.
“nice and inexpensive”
clean room; quiet; nice staff; restaurant right next door; not far to Hamline University for college visit; close to I94 to travel to Minneapolis for theatre and entertainment
