“Pleasantly surprised”
My husband & I needed a place to stay that was near the Amtrak Station and the Bandana Square Best Western was just perfect. The reviews that I read were not great so I was a little leary about staying there but the staff was great, good breakfast, and it was quiet. What more could you want?
“Convenient to MN fair”
Hotel was very convenient to state fair. The shuttle system was excellent. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I'd certainly stay here again.

Visited St. Paul during my grandchildren's Spring vacation, to help my daugher and son-in-law while they prepared to move in preparation for a house remodel, and so wanted a place with an indoor pool and convenient to museums, etc. The railroad museum next door and rail history of the hotel was a plus! The staff were particularly helpful in assisting my entertaining the grandchildfren with pool time in the evenings.

I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone! As my niece said, it's like sleeping on a cloud! Very clean hotel, very good service.
“Nice Hotel”
Came up to the Twin Cities because I wanted to be in Minneapolis for my birthday and this hotel was great. We are familiar with Minneapolis/St. Paul so this hotel was in a great location for us. The hotel has a certain charm to it thanks to its history, and our room was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful, lots to choose from. I only had two complaints. One, the kids in the pool were loud but they had to be out by 9pm so it wasn't that big of a deal. Two, parking was a bit tight. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

“Good for not being downtown”
Everything in downtown Minneapolis was booked, so we stayed here in St. Paul. It was reasonably easy to drive into downtown. Breakfast and rooms were nice. Only complaint is that the exercise equipment was not in very good condition.
“Unique Place”
The hotel is built inside of an old railroad repair shop. It is a modern place that feels 100 years old. I have stayed there several times, and I always enjoy the stay. It is a great location for a morning walk or jog.
“Unique Hotel seems like comfortable train station”
When I first entered I was like wow huge ceiling. It seemed like a big barn, with country flair, but after walking around, it was really more like a nice train station. The continental breakfast in the morning was nice with fruit, cerial, and you could make your own huge waffle. The room was clean and for a short stay very nice.
“Great Price For Quality”
Quaint looking old train station that provides comfort for a low price. I have alot of meetings inSt. Paul and make it my regular place to stay.
