Recreation
Surrounded by a sundeck furnished with lounge chairs and umbrellas, a 27.5-by-11.25-m (90-by-37-ft) pool containing a rock-garden island and a shallow children's section provides freshwater swimming. Nearby are a four-person spa tub and a 9.25-m (30-ft), pear-shaped children's pool.
A series of stairways leads down the hill on which the resort is situated to the Caribbean Sea. The sea washes a shallow 30-m (98-ft) stretch of sand and limestone outcroppings in front of the resort that's usually not suitable for sunbathing, but is fine for swimming and snorkeling.
Depending on weather and season, sand fronting the 1.5-km (1-mi) section of limestone-cliff seafront called Cupecoy Beach, on which the resort lies, comes and goes. Guests can climb over limestone outcroppings east and west of the resort to find deeper sections of sand or walk to the road leading to those sections, which range from 100m (109 yds) to 400m (437 yds) away. The most expansive section, at the western end of Cupecoy Beach, is popular with nude sunbathers.
The resort rents snorkeling gear, beach chairs, umbrellas, and coolers. Independent operators on Simpson Bay Beach adjacent to the airport (3.25 km/2 mi) southeast of the resort) offer a variety of water sports, including personal watercraft, kayaking, motor boating, sailing, scuba diving, fishing, and cruising.
The island's only golf course, Mullet Bay, is 1 km (0.75 mi) southeast of the resort.
The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the resort; fees may apply.

“Wonderful accomodations, can't wait to go back.”
We really enjoyed having an ocean view with a great hot tub on the balcony. Music was great, in house superette market was great. Overall we were very pleased.
“Had a great time”
Our room and part of the hotel were immaculate; other parts of the hotel were undergoing renovation or looked like they needed a touch up. I had a few minor peeves: the large tub had no shower curtain, so the floor would get very wet whenever anyone took a shower; I could never figure out how to work the three remote controls so I had to get up off the couch to turn on the TV; the airpump had been removed from the Jacuzzi, so we had warm water jets, but no bubbles; and it seemed that whenever I went to the front desk with a request, I always ended up with a trainee who had to ask the manager for assistance. The beach is small and steep; it's OK if you are a swimmer, but if you like to sun bathe or like to play in shallow water, you need to go to one of the adjacent beaches or to the pool. Our room had a kitchenette, so the mini-market in the hotel was very useful and had a surprisingly good selection. My room had excellent Wi-fi reception but I got the impression from the guests using their computers in the hotel lobby that the coverage might not be as good in other parts of the hotel.
