“a gem that is off the beaten path.”
The hotel is located on a very private bay in a remote part of St. Martin. The pool is lovely and the beach is pristine. There are no waves and, so, snorkeling or Kayaking is perfect. If you are looking for a quiet, lovely, and natural setting with space to breath, then this is the place for you. The waters are a lovely color. The staff is very friendly.
“Awesome Sint Martin”
Beautiful hotel, spectacular grounds, romantic setting. We had been on this site two other times, when it was another hotel. The Radisson did a great job with their changes. The property is on an isolated part of the island, the view coming down from the small mountain is beautiful. The property is in a v-shaped valley, being shared with a small french hotel (le Domaine) and a marina. The Radisson's portion gives it a large beautifully shaped property, that they have done a fantastic job. Everything was elegant and tasteful. The staff was very friendly and attentive, the food was very good, and they even have a very adequate fitness facility. The hotel is remote- so enjoy the people you are with! The entertainment is the romantic environment they have created- nothing else. We rarely have been pool loungers, but their large infinity pool drew us to hang at the pool most of the time. The cove where the beach is gives you a clean beautiful alternative, with free snorkling, that was well worth doing! For the first time in many years, we chose to stay at the hotel and just relaxed- and loved it! Sint Martin is very different from the Dutch side, and the island as a whole has a lot to offer for those looking for a varied vacation. The Radisson is remote, but convenient to two (Grand Case, and Orient Beach) of the more happening places on the French side. American's might be a little shy about the topless, and (Orient) nude french habits, but we found this trip fantastic!
“Wonderful Experience”
An incredible experience. The hotel staff were very helpful in every matter, regarding restaurant recommendations, suggesting activities for the day, etc. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone. St. Martin was a wonderful experience.

“MORE THAN WE EXPECTED”
We were pleasantly surprised to find this resort to be one of the most beautiful and enjoyable eperiences in our many trips to the Caribbean. It is located on an inlet with clear waters and a pristine beach surrounded by lush mountains. The flowered grounds are beautifully landscaped. Our suite was unusually clean, modern and well appointed. The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. The food was good. It was a great place both for families who want a peaceful exerience and for couples looking for a romantic getaway.
“An amazing hotel experience”
My friends and I stayed at the Radisson Blu in St. Maarten for 4 nights in February. We chose this resort as we were looking for a beautiful hotel in a quiet location with good reviews on trip advisor. We were not disappointed. The room was nicely sized, clean, and the beds were super comfortable (both were sleep number beds). We made use of the gym and business center with internet – both free and open 24 hours. The hotel has an amazing pool, hot tub, and beach. There are a number of water activities, including kayaks (free) and jet skis (expensive to rent). As the hotel was so beautiful, we didn't feel the need to leave the grounds. Had we chosen to do outside activities, we may have rented a car (there appeared to be a car rental agent at the hotel#. The few taxis that we took #to the airport, etc.), were expensive, but all arrived early and were honest and reliable. As we had special dietary needs, we were given a fridge for our room, which came in handy. As for the crowd at the hotel, it was mostly family oriented and not the party-going type. One thing to know about the hotel is that as it is secluded, there is no ATM or grocery stores walking distance. I think that the nearest ATM is a 5 minute drive. If you are looking for a party, the Dutch side would better suit your needs. However, if you are looking for a beautiful French style hotel in a quiet and beautiful setting with everything you need in one place, I would highly recommend the Radisson Blu.
“Cleanest room in all of our caribbean vacations”
The property was a little difficult to get to but once there the facility was wonderful in all aspects.The room was awesome,the bed was one of the most comfortable that we have slept in, and the amenities such as the pool and the beach were especially nice. We would go back to this particular hotel if we visit St Martin again
“Quiet and restful location”
Stayed at the Radisson for 3 nights with a group of girlfriends. The staff was friendly, rooms were decent, food was good and the pool was warm. The sandy beach was soft and the ocean water was warmer than the pool. The hotel is a little isolated from the hot spots on the island, but that suited us perfectly. A perfect spot for a re-charge and re-connect. We had rented a car and bombed around the island for a bit. Views were spectacular and the roads were in pretty decent shape. The road into the Radisson is not for the faint of heart....
“An Oasis of beauty”
The Radisson Blu was a real "find" on the island. Affordable luxury. The place is elegant and exudes all the qualities that you look for in a tropical island vacation. It has a spacious swimming pool tucked right up to the equally beautiful and well maintained beach. Both are staffed by attentive and friendly employees who will bring you drinks, re-position your umbrella or recommend local eateries. The price included an expansive, buffet breakfast and as many beach towels as you want. You will need a car to venture out, however. In addition to a very nice, on property restaurant, there are only two other eating establishments within walking distance. With a car, the restaurants of Grand Case are an easy drive. The lobby area of the hotel has an outdoor seating area that is a divine place to relax and read or enjoy appropriately mellow, live music in the evenings. Free WiFi, too, in both the lobby and the pool area for those who can't quite get away from it all. All in all, just a wonderful place to pamper yourself for an island retreat.
“Beautiful resort on one of the prettiest beaches!”
The Radisson St. Martin is located in Anse Marcel and has one of the prettiest beaches on St. Martin. Although it is probably the farthest hotel from the airport, it is located deep in the "quiet side" of the island - the French side. This was our first trip to St. Martin, so my wife and I spent some time exploring several other beaches from SXM airport around the western and northern sections of the island. There is a lot of variety to choose from, but the beach at Anse Marcel was one of the prettiest and you don't have to rent a lounge chair or umbrella. The included breakfast buffet had enough variety to have something different each day. The restaurants at the hotel and just outside are very good, but for the same price range you can have fabulous gourmet meals in nearby Grand Case (our favorite was Auberge Gourmande).
