“LA PLANTATION”
GREAT
“Didn't want to leave”
This was the best vacation we've been on in years. Everything was beautiful. Had a great time at the hotel, the beach, the activities, the shopping. The whole package was great and very relaxing.

We stayed at this hotel last year and we were surprised to find that it had been remodeled and freshened up even better than last time. Our room had a wonderful view of Orient Bay and the hotel staff couldn't have been more accommodating. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to St. Martin.
“7 years in a row and still satisfied!”
Every year we think about looking at other places but we always come back to LaPlantation. Most of the staff know us and are always pleased to see us return. We love the convenience of how close it is to Orient and the local restaurants. And Grand Case is 5 minutes away too! Love the morning breakfast and our rooms have always been more than satisfactory!
“Our second home”
Our sixth year in a row staying at LaPlantation! We really enjoy the easy access to all of the venues near Orient Beach. We noticed this year many new security cameras throughout the grounds and a new entrance barrier. The studio room was more than adequate for us but when the power to the room suddenly went off and could not be restored, the woman in the office apologized and upgraded us to a suite for the rest of our stay!

“Perfect for large families/groups”
This hotel complex offers the perfect answer to large families/groups because of the mix & match units it offers. The location is close to the beach and all of the activities on Orient Beach. Being able to sign at (5) different restaurants was very convenient. The front desk was very accommodating to allow a 2 pm check-out. This helped us out greatly since we had a late flight.
“Pleasantly surprised--what a charming place!”
What a great find! Superb location (short walk to the beach), very clean, quiet, and super nice staff! We were upgraded from a studio to a suite and it was wonderful to have a living room and kitchen. Not the best view (you can somewhat see the beach), but we were barely in our room during the day anyway. It was a perfect place for the price. If you stay here, I would 100% recommend renting a car unless you're planning to spend all your time in Orient Bay. Traffic can be horrible but the freedom of having a car makes it worthwhile. Oh, and Yvette's is the best locally-owned restaurant on the island ;) Try the lobster on Mondays, but be prepared for the price!
“First Stay - Very Impressed!”
We have been traveling to St. Martin for many years and have stayed at several hotels in the Orient Bay area. Our old stand by was not available and the rates offered at La Plantation were attractive. We had also eaten at the hotel restaurant on previous occasions and knew it to be excellent. The hotel reception and restaurant are on the main road into Orient Bay but the rooms are terraced above on the hill offering great views. We were on the top terrace with 3 rooms per building (we were the only ones in our building). The room was quite large with a king bed and large front deck, nice bathroom and great shower. It was very private but would obviously be less so if other room were occupied. Basic kitchen with good refrigerator and coffee maker. The air conditioning was also quite good. The staff was friendly and helpful with no (bad) surprises. There is a nice pool at reception which can be a fair hike from the more remote rooms. A very nice continental breakfast was included and provided in the classic style...bread and croissant, juice, coffee, cheese, ham, fruit. Overall the experience was among the best we have had in the area.
