Room Amenities
Rooms
This St Maarten resort offer 42 guestrooms in two buildings of two stories (no elevators) painted in bright pastels and decorated in fretwork of contrasting colors. Rooms feature ground-floor verandas or second-floor balconies with teak lounge chairs and cocktail tables. They contain kitchenettes with two-burner rangetops, microwave ovens, compact refrigerators, toasters, coffeemakers, dishes, and glasses.

“Wonderful Visit”
This hotel had a very relaxed atmosphere. Close to restaurants, wonderful beach access, and VERY nice and helpful staff. Our visit to this hotel and island was perfect. A true vacation.
“great place to stay”
great place to stay our second time at alamanda and we will be back again
“Alamanda--Magnifique!!”
Great place to stay ! Have stayed there 6 rimes and staff is like family!
“Best location on the best beach.”
A very friendly staff at a hotel that was very close to restaurants, the best beach on the island and some little convenience stores. It was nice to have a small kitchen to prepare breakfasts and have cold drinks when you got back from the beach.
“Went back in February and March 2008!!!!!!!!!!!”
My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Feb. We returned in March for an extra vacation and stayed at Alamanda. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We LOVED IT!! Can not wait to go back again.
“This was our 4th time to stay at the Alamanda. It is great!”
Excellent hotel and wonderful location.
“Outstanding Service - Laid back atmosphere - Great Location”
Our room was large, comfotable, clean and well-equipped with a nice view of the ocean. The beach, of course, is beautiful - towels, lounge chairs and umbrellas provided. The Alamanda is on the edge of a small village center with several reataurants with a variety of cuisines and a samll store to pick up food items for the room. Much like staying at the beach in France, we would stroll into the village each morning to pick up a fresh (still warm) baguette for breakfast. Other reports we had seen mentioned bugs, but we didn't encounter any. The hotel staff took care of all of our needs - recommending places to eat, excursions, etc., in a friendly, gracious, relaxed maner. The Alamanda would definitely be our resort of choice again.
“Impressed with the staff & the cleanliness”
Staff at the hotel were excellent & always willing to help. Rooms & facility were constantly maintained, very clean.
“Great Hotel and Beach”
This is a very nice hotel. The beach is wonderful. There were several good resturants within walking distance to the hotel.
“Will go back next year”
I highly recomend this hotel. It's the closest hotel to the beach on Orient beach. The room was very nice. Loved having a porch to sit on. Everyone that works there is very nice. Great free breakfast in the morning. Short walk to the beach bar on the beach. We never left a 1/4 mile radius. Great resturants right behind the hotel. You feel like you're in France. Dined outside every night. Walked to everything.
