"Excellent hotel, very clean bright tropical room!"
We had an excellent stay. All the reviews I read were very accurate, wonderful hotel. Very clean and appealing. Close to beach, everything was just perfect!!! The Best thing was the Roti we bought on the beach from Shirley! We definitely would go back and stay longer next time, would be nice if it was closer to the International Airport.

"exciting vacation"
Myself and two friends stayed at the Inn from March 2nd. to 6th. 2014. This was my first visit to the island and I must say from check in to check out was a pleasant and stress free experience. We were greeted with warm and friendly smiles which made us feel at home. Thanks to the reception staff ( I don't want to spell their names incorrectly). Our room was always clean, thanks to Angela. The Shopping Mall is just a few footsteps away and there's always lots to do at Rodney Bay. The shuttle is there to take you to the resort and the food there is fantastic. A magical time was had at the Manager's Cocktail party. If you are looking for a piece of paradise, St. Lucia is the place to be. However Bay Gardens Inn, Hotel and Resort and Spa make your vacation heavenly.

"$70.USD One way from UVF to A Romantic Hideaway."
I was shock and upset at the $70.us I had to pay to get there .The hotel is only accessible by a free shuttle boat that runs very late into the night. The hotel is very romantic, great views ,nice apartments and most of all marvelous staff. It's very close to the beach but not much swimming can be done. There is not much to do in that part of town but jump in a cab, water taxi or get up early and get on the local bus to see the sites .The restaurant's in the area are a bit over priced for me so i just used my kitchen to prepare some meals another option is go to the over the water and buy breakfast or lunch where the locals go try the fish cakes they are really good.

"The place to stay in St. Lucia"
There was our second trip The Body Holiday. We returned because of the location, facility, and most importantly, the staff. Every staff member has a smile on their face, stops to talk to you, and is genuinely interested in learning about your time at the resort. There is something for everybody at The Body Holiday. You can learn to sail, scuba, water ski, play golf, take exercise classes, or just spend the day on the beautiful beach, making sure the ocean doesn't go anywhere. Included in your stay, is a daily spa treatment. That spa treatment can be a massage, facial, or body wrap. Some American men may be rolling there eyes, but don't knock any of it until you have tried it. Most of the clientele is European, mainly British. This is a real plus, because you get the opportunity to meet different and interesting people. The dining tends to run on a European schedule. Lunch doesn't start till 12:30pm, and can be as heavy or light as one desires. Dinner isn't until 7:30, but is one of the highlights of the day. You can eat in the Caribleu dining area ( an open air restaurant), Tao (an exquisite high end, not to be missed meal) or the more informal Beach Grill. This resort is for adults. They recommend nobody under the age of 16. This is not because of any craziness, they simply do not cater in any way to children. There are no kids menus or activities.

"Beautiful resort"
The resort property is beautiful and peaceful, also large enough so it's not crowded even at peak travel season. The food was excellent, no problems getting reservations at the different restaurants. The beach area is not large but we never had problems getting lounge chairs. The only difficulty was that we had not arranged for transfers from the airport to the hotel ahead of time and the hotel is approximately a 90 minute ride from the airport. The resort is secluded with no shops in the immediate neighborhood. The spa treatments were heavenly and I wish we could have stayed longer.

"Boring town... boring hotel... nothing to do"
My new wife and I were on our honeymoon. We only stayed in the south for one night, because our flight arrived in Vieux Fort in the night, and we decided we'd crash in Kabran before heading to a resort in the north for the rest of the vacation. If you're looking to have some fun, you're in the wrong place. There are no business places as far as the eye can see. The receptionist, who is also the bartender, cannot even mix drinks in the so-called "bar." There's no food here either. Avoid the south of St. Lucia. There's nothing to do here. Thank God we only spent one night there.

"Loved the Hotel and the people."
Bay Gardens Beach Resort-there is much to like about this resort. It starts with location. In is located near the end of the beach in Rodney Bay, a great location. When I arrived, I had a problem with the room that I was given for a number of reasons the first night. It could not be resolved that first night, but was certainly and very graciously compensated for over the next week by providing our family with a lovely view of the beach and over the pool-fantastic! The room, comfort and attention by housekeeping were great.

"Right place, right price, right location"
It is a very attractive, modern 'colonial style' hotel with a great ambience. My wife and I stayed just the one night prior to flying back to the UK and we wished we could have stayed longer. From the very friendly greeting from reception, complete with a fruit punch, to a great suite, the initial impression is very positive. Although check in is 2.00pm, we arrived at 11.30 and as the the room was free, we were able to go straight up to the room. The suite was very roomy, with a shower room and a bathroom/shower room, well furnished and in good condition. We chose a Garden View room simply for the 'quieteness' of the location as opposed to poolside or main road which can be a little noisey especially at night when the area 'comes alive'. The hotel has a multi level and large pool, not deep enough for diving into but great for kids and non-swimmers (like my wife!) with plenty of sun loungers and shade. There is an open air bar and restaurant, where a buffet breakfast (also included in our rate) is served as well as snacks and dinner. Around lunchtime ,we enjoyed listening to a live steel band which softened the fact that we were leaving at 1.00pm. Also available is complimentary WiFi. Everywhere is very clean and tidy with a well kept garden.
