Ivan. thank you for your review we appreciate all feedback. Our rooms do have a ship theme, and, in the hallways, we represent the coloured doorways of Jellybean Row. Our hotel is unique to St. John's. We hope to have you visit us again on a return trip.

Bien situé et confortable
Nous avons fait un voyage de couple. Cet établissement est bien situé et le lit est confortable. Par contre, notre chambre donnait sur le port et le matin il y a beaucoup d’activité, donc beaucoup de bruit. L’air climatisé aussi faisait beaucoup de bruit dans notre chambre. Un peu plate considérant le prix de la chambre. Nous avons passé un bon séjour

Le service aux chambres a été médiocre. Nous étions là pour 4 nuits. Malgré plusieurs demandes (4 en tout), et ce, dès le début du séjour, l’hôtel a procédé au ménage de la chambre que la troisième nuit. Le lit a donc été fait une seule fois, les poubelles vidées une seule fois et la salle de bain nettoyée une seule fois, et ce, à la fin du séjour. Déception pour un hôtel comme celui-ci.

Plusieurs erreurs de la part du personnel… donner une chambre déjà occupée. Parking lié à la plaque minéralogique et surfacturation de la part de l’entreprise en charge du stationnement. Non renouvellement du café complimentaire (dans la chambre) malgré une demande spécifique à ce sujet. Ménage non fait et non renouvellement des accessoires pour la douche.

I am not sure of the over charging for parking. I looked at your bill and its only showing the charge of $10.00 per night for parking fees. When you checked you would have been giving a letter letting you know that Housekeeping is upon request as a lot of our guest s don't want staff in there room with Covid.

Black mold around one corner of bathtub and behind bathroom sink behind vanity. So dark in the room due to terrible Lightning. Had to use my flashlight to pour water in the coffee pot. Get rid of the crazy movie theatre light and the water proof light by the bed. Why anyone would paint the ceiling dark blue in a hotel room is beyond my way of thinking,it’s disgusting. Hilton should be ashameb of there selves. Oh, no ice, called the desk and said, where can we get some ice, they said our ice machine on the second floor is out of service, you will have to go down stairs to the bar and get your own ice. Really! Oh, one more thing, what are those little black beetles that are crawling around the base of the toilet! Never again, just disgusting!

Location was great. Front desk staff a bit rude at check in when their credit card machine didn't work - tried to blame it on my having invalid cards but then when he entered it manually, voila - it worked! Stayed there 4 nights and our room was not cleaned once. (first day was our own choice as we were still in the room). Had to ask for towels every day. Also shower leaked, which is why we kept needing new towels as we had to mop up the water everyday.

I would not hesitate to stay here again. It was clean, very good price for the area (in the downtown core) - nice restaurant. No pool but that is probably the only downside to staying here.

The Doubletree was a great choice for staying in St. John’s. It’s located near the Narrows end of Water Street, which makes walking to nearby sites easy. You’re maybe a 20-30 walk to Signal Hill, The Rooms and George Street. Being on Water Street you have a great view of the harbour and are close to all the shops and restaurants along it.

The views were absolutely amazing. The hotel has been updated in a really classy style. The furniture in the room was exactly what I needed for work etc. And the restaurant was top notch. I will never stay anywhere else in St. John's.

We were placed in room on main floor right next to main lobby, room was missing chairs, had no linens, view was of parking lot, we got no sleep due to the activity in lobby and traffic, we spoke to front desk staff and they said hotel was full and given that we booked through Expedia there was nothing they could offer in terms of credit/refund, very disappointing.
