Reservation for a private room was not honoured. At least we were put into a dorm for the night free of charge.

-Name on credit card did not match the name on the reservation -the phone number on the reservation was not working -Therefore the reservation was considered fraudulent ,and therefore cancelled - this is done in terms of agreement with the credit card provider and Expedia

This property is in a very convenient location in St. John's. Close to downtown and Signal Hill. About what you expect for the cleanliness and amenities of a hostel. Walls are fairly thin, but my private room was in a location where I didn't hear people most of the time. Didn't use the kitchen so can't comment on that. The staff was friendly and went the extra mile to make my late check in convenient!

St. John’s hostel
The hostel was in an area of colourful row houses near public transportation The building was an original so the condition wasn’t too bad considering the age. The staff was pleasant and helpful when you needed something.
