We thought all the staff were professional in their various departments. They were friendly and efficient and seemed to enjoy their work. We asked Reception for a fan and a duvet instead of sheets and blankets and both requests were carried out quickly. The hotel was clean and comfortable. It would be hard to find anything to complain about.

I stayed in this hotel for a week with my boyfriend. The location was amazing, just 5 minutes walk to the main shopping area. The hotel isn't great on the looks side, and at 18 we were the youngest there but in general I would recommend it.
Modern hotel built around garden courtyard and pool, located in the centre of St Helier, 500 metres from main shopping …More
This hotel has a beautiful garden and pool with plenty seating and loungers for the guests. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Paul was our waiter and was excellent, attending to us very promptly and professionally. There is a courtesy minibus that runs into town in the morning and back again either late or early afternoon. It is on a bus route also which stops quite near the hotel. The hotel is about a 20-30 minute walk from the town centre but is up quite a steep slope and may not be suitable for all to walk although we did this on two occasions. We could not fault the food in the hotel. It was of a good quality and well presented. The morning porridge is a must-so creamy. We would definitely stay here again if going back to Jersey as the hotel is so peaceful yet still so near the town. The hotel provided entertainment we particularly enjoyed the singers. The rooms were clean and well looked after during our stay.
"Best Western Royal; St.Helier,Jersey, Channel Isla"
The room that we were allocated at first was small and did not contain any drawers with the result that my wife could not unpack our case.I went to reception and asked if they could get a set of drawers installed.I was told that that could not be done. However, when I told them that this was the last time that I spent in a Best Western hotel anywhere in the world, the staff then relinquished and gave us another room which had an adequate supply of drawers. This experience got our vacation off to a mixed start.
We enjoyed our stay, although we did get told off for sitting at the wrong table for breakfast on first morning. Perhaps the staff should of been on hand to tell you there were certain seating arrangements. We're pretty sure the singer booked on the last night was drunk, but this did make things more entertaining.
The capital of Jersey and home to fewer than 30,000 people, St Helier boasts beaches, shopping, and culture. High street shops include department stores, designer shops, and fine quality jewellery boutiques. St. Helier also has the Jersey Opera House, which offers musicals, dance, and comedy.
