Stayed for 5 nights. This resort excels on many levels. Weather was phenomenal as well, I was there mid July. Out of the tree beaches at the resort, only one is really nice. The other two are less than mediocre. Going for a day to Buck island was awesome, wonderfully soft white sandy beach, nice snorkeling.

"Amazing views"
Amazing. Beautiful hotel and the rooms with the beach view are great. The patio doors slide right open to the wonderful view. Loved it. The beach had a lot of coral so it's probably good for snorkeling but not just open swimming. All the beaches are public though, so check them all out! The hotel was always clean when we got back from our excursions for the day and the staff was all nice. I believe we went during hurricane season (although it probably only rained for a total of 10 minutes for the whole week we stayed) but the kitchen sometimes had smaller menus. Still, the restaurant at the hotel had excellent service, faster than most other places on the island. Overall loved it

"Our stay at the Cay"
We had 3 wonderful days at the Cay. I think that it is important that I add that St. Croix needed rain in the worst way when my wife and I stayed at the Cay, the fountains and the little pools around the fountains weren't filled all the time. Our first interaction with the water taxi and staff at the Cay was awesome, the bar area is a little out dated and could be cleaned better. The beach tables were clean and breakfast was good, but the service was a little slow. The pool was clean and the view from the room was great. There some spots on the Island that could be cleaned up a bit to make it look a little nicer. But I think that stay at the Cay gave us a good perspective of how the Island is. They sell chips in bags for snacks and they have a soda machine. But for us that what made it great, it was beautiful and relaxing and not the United States. We loved it.

"Beautiful hotel. A true resort far from everything"
A beautiful hotel. Pretty isolated from everything. Spacious rooms. Nice set-up - no high rise. Beautiful beach though a bit rocky in spots. Too many yellow jackets. Good food at both restaurants - pricey but not unexpectedly so. Hotel staff throughout the hotel are as nice as could be but restaurant service is slow and inefficient - we had to ask for place settings numerous times.

"Hotel at the ocean"
We spent two nights at this hotel. Located right on the ocean overlooking buck island. Quiet, has a nice bar area, and a great pool. Hamacks are comfortable. Tried the snorkeling at this location, was a slight pain to get into the ocean (rocky at the inlet area), saw a turtle and the normal tropical fish.

"Nice place right on the water."
Very nice place with a terrific staff right on the waterfront in the center of Christiansted. Checking in and out was very quick and easy with the nicest people you could ever hope to meet. Any problem is addressed immediately. Our room was directly over the restaurant and bar which was very convenient but never heard a sound from inside the room. Nice pool with a raised patio for viewing the waterfront. Food from the restaurant was wonderful and the service was fast and friendly. Prices for everything was less than expected. A few things could use a little updating but the overall quality does not suffer and just fits in with the 'island experience'. I would not only recommend it, I will be going back there in January.
