The rooms are nothing fancy but they are clean & I will take clean over fancy any day! My only complaint is the water pressure is not great. On our final morning, the water pressure in the shower was so low we could barely get enough water to shower. It was frustrating - we had a full day of travel ahead of us & wanted to feel clean starting out! The sink had better water pressure than the shower! I spoke to the front desk & was simply told too many people were using it at the same time! If that is the problem -- fix it! I would definitely return to this hotel if I knew the water issue would be resolved!
We needed a place to stay overnight after attending a concert at the amphitheatre. This place was very convenient to the venue and also to several restaurants. Nothing fancy at all but the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.
We really enjoyed our stay! The staff was always busy and helpful. My grandson, the fish, enjoyed the beach and the pool. The air conditioned room was an oasis during the extreme heat. The bed was a little firmer than I prefer, but I still slept well.
About what you expect from a Hilton Garden Inn. Very clean, good staff, overall very nice facility. Rooms to accommodate larger families, which was nice for us. Proximity to the beach is good. The hike over is a little bit long for lots of kids, coolers, etc., BUT not a reason not to stay. Overall excellent experience.
