“The staff are rockstars!”

Any request I had was addressed. The staff was great and went out of their way to help me. I think it was very nice that they had coffee available to me. I liked the location as well. I think that the room may have been a little cleaner but I have to take into consideration that this is not the Hearst Castle and I am going to get the safari room complete with lions, so I rated it ok on cleanliness of the room. If you expect white glove cleanliness then you will need to pay for it. I, however, feel that the service was above and beyond what I paid for. I met 3 of the front desk clerks and I felt that they were all pleasant people. I would chose to stay at this hotel if I ever went back to Springfield, Ill based on their staff alone.

“Great hotel for the price”

everything is this hotel was great; however, the bed was a little hard and the pillows were small and not real comfortable. The room and hotel was clean the service was good and the breakfast was decent for what you got. Overall enjoyed my stay.

“Just fine for a moderate price.”

The room was very clean and modern, the choice of cable channels generous; the room and the hotel were in good repair, and the place was very quiet. The desk clerks and housekeeping staff were helpful and friendly. We were given a nonsmoking room and a nonsmoking wing, and by golly, I couldn't smell any smoke. And the price, through Expedia, was modest. One possible problem, though it wasn't for us, was that the walls were rather thin, allowing one to hear the next door neighbors talk. But they didn't, till just before checkout. I might have wanted fresh fruit and stronger coffee at the free breakfast, but I would not insist on it, when the hotel otherwise was just fine.

“Unusual”

This hotel is ok but just that - ok. There was a major detraction when the police started banging on the door just down from us to arrest someone in the wee hours of the night. That always has a disturbing effect on one's night sleep.

The adjoining room for my kids was not ready (not clean) when I checked in. They pretended as if nobody was aware of my booking and needs

“Not Impressed”

Had 3 hours of broken sleep before my last board exam..... falling asleep during exam. power outages, loud noisy ac, some kind of super loud trucks going by constantly all night.... :(

“Never going back”

Hotel had all outlets used up by there equipment. The tv was old and without quality picture. Morning breakfast was extremely basic. Door keys we had to constantly change because they stopped working. No refrigerator and no microwave. The toilet was not working properly. Would Never recommend this hotel.

“GLAD TO LEAVE!!”

This hotel had poor management. The attendant had his girlfriend and child at the desk when we pulled up. The child was running around the lobby. Once we got to the room, I was shocked at the smell and the uncleanness of the room. Our door did not even lock. The strike on the the door was missing the screws. We had to change rooms, which was even dirtier than the last one. Etc............
