“Outstanding customer service”

The staff really went above and beyond the normal for a hotel staff in making sure we were taken care of. The hot breakfast saved my family about $20 every morning that we would have spent at IHOP. The best part was, I forgot my running shoes at the hotel when we left, and they mailed them to my house for me. We will definitely be back for our next stay.

“Comfortable hotel for extended stay”

My daughter, her boyfriend, and I all stayed at this Residence Inn recently to attend the Rally to Restore Sanity. It was a lively spot that weekend as there seemed to be lots of people there for the same purpose. We only stayed two nights but would have been comfortable staying longer because the rooms are quite large and have a kitchenette and sofabed in them. There was no real separation between the bedroom and the living room/kitchen but we found it quite cozy and convenient nonetheless. There is a good breakfast included in the rates. I enjoyed hot, cooked oatmeal and fruit while I remember my daughter eating freshly cooked waffles. There was a variety of other food available. The neighborhood wasn't scenic but there was shopping within walking distance, Trader Joe's and K-Mart are among the many stores. What wasn't within easy walking distance was the Metro stop - the last stop on the Springfield-Franconia line from Washington, passing Washington Reagan airport on the way. It was easy to get to Springfield from Reagan on the Metro but unfortunately the hotel does not have a shuttle to the Metro stop so one must get a cab to get to the hotel from the Metro stop. Although the hotel is not far from the Metro as the birds fly, the walking route is roundabout and quite a bit longer - long (about 2 miles) and difficult enough that we didn't want to walk it.

“very clean and comfortable”

Everything was great! I'm a super picky hotel person, especially when it comes to cleanliness. The rooms were clean, breakfast was good. Something you should know if you use the pool. They have to have someone at the pool in order for people to swim so there is limited access to the pool. And our two bedroom suite that sleeps 6 actually has 2 beds and 1 small pull out couch, just for a more accurate description. Parking was easy, access to the hotel was easy, it's surrounded by a shopping center. I would definitely stay here again.

“Cheap weekend break - near to friends”

Great hoel, great free breakfast, well appointed room. good size. Only down is that the heater/air con/boiler is right next to one side of the bed and the fan points right down on the bed so got woken up repeatedly whenever it kicked in. on main road but not too noisy. Ample free parking. All in all was very reasonable for the price

“Home away from home”

The Marriott Residence Inn rooms are very clean, comfortable and attractive. The breakfast is good and plentiful. Many extra services are available, such as exercise room, coin laundry, etc. The Inn is difficult to get to, without precise directions, but worth it once you get there.
