“Very Nice Stay”

The people were great at this Hilton. The room was very nice. The bathroom was a little too small but nice. Our refrigerator wasn't cold but we didn't want to change rooms. The staff was very friendly and most helpful with directions, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

“surprise benefit on a busy DC weekend”

zero fault accomodations and service - very enjoyable, wish I had had time to try the indoor pool! realized the benefit of being first/last stop on the metro line when we headed in for the sanity rally - nobody else could get on the train!

We were extremely impressed with the staff. Front desk staff was helpful and informative. All staff was friendly and accommodating. We liked the pool and especially liked the private entrance to and from the pool. I was surprised that a life guard was on staff during pool hours. The room was spacious and clean.

“Convenient DC Suburb Hotel”

This hotel is really near the Franconia-Springfield Metro station which is perfect for anyone (especially coming from south of DC) wanting to stay in the outskirts as opposed to the city. The hotel was fantastic. The staff were courteous, the room was clean and comfortable and we thought the crowning moment was that there was a restaurant attached. Unfortunately, that crown had some thorns. I worked in the service industry for a lot of years and what I saw, for one reason or another, was a restaurant not running efficiently. Service was definitely lacking on our night at Houlihan's, but the food was delicious and I picked up on the fact that there were some uncommon factors, such as training new employees, that may have made an impact on our dining experience (we were seated at the bar). I do truly believe it was an off night for the staff, but I must again say the food was really well done and as I watched the bartenders do their job I was impressed that there was fresh fruit used in the making of many drinks. All around we were very impressed and will stay at this hotel again.

“Great base to explore Washington”

This location was a great base for my son and I to explore Washinton, DC. The hotel has a free shuttle to the Metro station so we were able to avoid the traffic and trying to drive and park in the City. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to get around the hotel area easily and find the locations we were looking for each night. Overall great stay.

“Nice access to area”

Pleased with location, access,staff, parking and quality for dollar. Bad experience in restaurant-raininand ceiling fell in beside our lunch table. Nice restaurants close by.

“A great place to stay away from the city”

This hotel is great. The staff was friendly and the room was spacious. It is located across the street from the Springfield Mall. Overall, I had a great stay. On the Metrorail, it is about 20 minutes from Ronald Reagan Airport, and 50 minutes from Washington DC. You will need to call the hotel to arrange for a shuttle pick-up from Franconia-Springfield Station. However, if you're up for a walk, it could be faster than waiting for the shuttle.

“Very nice stay”

I've been familiar with metro Washington for over two decades, this hotel has been around for awhile (you can tell by the design). I was very impressed with the upgrades, the bathroom flooring, the furniture, bedding - very contemporary. I got in way too late (2AM) to take full advangtage of my stay, which actually is an incentive for me to book again!!!
