“Not Impressed”

We show up at the lobby at around 5:30 pm just to be informed to come back after 1 hr because our room hasn't been clean yet. 2 hrs later after a dinner outside, it was still not ready. I drove from Alberta Canada for 9 hrs and our room is not ready yet? C'mon. 1 hr later finally get in our room (9:00 pm). That time, appr 3 dozen chinese tourists from Vancouver arrive and have to stack up at the lobby because rooms are not ready still. The lobby stinks with furniture not washed, breakfast is bread, apple and only cooffe..I heard the hotel manager to his staff and say negative comments behind the chinnese guests.

“Disappointing”

The staff was very pleasant but the maintenance of the hotel is poor. Our room heater did not work or the hairdryer. Hallways were very dirty with a musty smell. The price is very low as should your expectations be.

“Neglected”

I found that the room had potential (the bed wasn't too uncomfortable) but the pillows were really tiny and too soft to be useful, the tub drain didn't work correctly, there was bubblegum on our bath mat, and bodily fluid stains on the towels. All in all, not the most charming hotel. It would be great if the maitenance were kept up though!

“Hotel is showing its age”

I chose this hotel because I had stayed there before, about 5 years ago. Asked for one Queen bed, got two Full beds. Room was small / cramped. Air conditioner noisy, but at least it worked. Pool was "closed for maintenance" and empty (in mid-July)! On-site restaurant remains the bright spot -- EXCELENT food

“For a budget traveller ...”

This hotel was a stop-over in Spokane to start a new leg of a holiday. It was not expected to be top-rate as we had paid a budget price for it. My wife & I experianced a 70's hotel with helpful friendly staff, who gave us a large comfortable room and everything we expected for a budget hotel. I wouldn't holiday in the hotel, but it functions well as a stop-over place to sleep!

“not impressed”

The front desk staff at night was very nice but the room was dirty, there was a hair ball by the TV and the carpet needed a vacum. Also the morning staff was not nice at all.

“will not use again”

The toilet leaked. The phones didn't work. the whole place had a shoddy appearance. The staff was nice and helpful The water pressure in the shower was adequate. The shower curtain blocked most of the light into the shower. The elevator was not centrally located. The breakfast buffet consisted of 2 kinds of cold cereal, english muffins, and frozen waffles. The hotel was conveniently located to airport.

“It was an experience...”

Older hotel. Hallway smelled of old cigarette smoke. The maintenance men were changing out T.V.'s, so we had to wait for him to set it up. Recent bullet or bb gun hole in the middle of the window-glass still outside on the balcony. Old fixtures. Made for an experience tho...

“Spokane House Hotel”

The hotel wasn't clean and wasn't nice to stay in. The price was great but we definitely got what we payed for. The whole hotel smelt of smoke and was dirty. I didn't even want to stay but had a non refundable reservation. I would definitely recommend staying at another hotel pretty much any other hotel.
