“Great value for money”
This hotel is perfect for a sunny break in Hvar. The location is perfect, it's quiet but close to all the action. As you'd expect from the price the rooms are basic, but they all have big balconies and are very clean. Breakfast is an added bonus as there's a good selection of food to set you up for a day by the sea!
“Excellent Value and Friendliness”
This is an excellent 2 star hotel situated in a pleasant quiet location. All the staff, without exception were both friendly and effeicient. Our room looked as if it had been refurbished within the last 2 years and was attractive, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The exterior is 1960's functional rectangular blocks, but the landscaping of terraces of olive trees offsets this. Good large pool area with a poolside bar. Very good value for money. Good buffet breakfast.
“The only swimming pool on the island?”
In my opinion, although not a great hotel, certainly good value for money. The hotel pool is nice and the location is good, a short walk to the centre of everything
“Great Value !”
Got a great price from Expedia , as we went start of June was great value for money, with a pool and half board was very cheap! Cool location aswell right by the Harbour! Which is Beautiful.
“Highly recommend for the price”
I know a lot of reviews of Pharos Bayhill Hotel haven't been that great, so I was pleasantly surprised after our week there - the music from the nearby club only wasn't that loud, the condition of the rooms was fine for 2 star, the whole hotel was nice and clean, the breakfast was great (I'm always happy with bread, meat, cheese and eggs) and the staff were also helpful. On our check out the reception staff organised a free transfer down to the ferry and also gave us a packed lunch. For the cost of the room we were very happy (although I probably shouldn't mention the snake my partner found under the bed when we were checking out...)
“Nice hotel, no internet”
We chose this hotel because we needed internet access for business use while in Hvar on holiday. However, when we arrived the wireless access promised on the website was 'broken'. They said it had been down for 3 weeks and wouldn't be fixed for another week. Besides that, was pleased overall. Good breakfast, very nice pool, close to the town centre, big balcony, good view of the sea (worth the extra few dollars for the sea view), room and bathroom were clean and fairly large.
“Expensive for what it was”
Basic room with nice view (extra cost) and sixties decor. Adequate breakfast but no fresh juice or fruit. Pool made it worth staying there but it was over priced.
