“Good quiet stay in Split”

It's impossible to find on your own, so take a cab as it's fair bit from central. Bus No 9 goes to central straight behind the hotel, takes about 10-15min so it's a bit further away, but well connected. Breakfast is very good - individual every morning I got dished up omelette, orange juice, coffee, mountain of fresh bread, butter, marmalaid, honey, cream cheese etc. If you are short of cash, across the road from bus stop is suparmarket, where food is times cheaper than in EU. Rooms are basic, but mine was very clean. every time cleaner visited she left me pile of soap and toilet rolls. All rooms have either french windows or balcony. Interior is very 70s (as well the whole house), there's wifi in the lobby. Staff's english is not the best, but they try, didn't once feel the resentful service you so often can experience other places in croatia. i'm a woman travelling alone and i also felt very safe in this hotel. Long story short - for this price that's excellent place to stay.
