We arrived after 10pm, had a nice quick check-in since we booked online, everyone was kind and engaging especially notable because of the hour. We will be staying here again next trip.

Plumbing is quite noisy. Lots of construction people staying so shower at 4 a.m. woke us up. Otherwise it was comfortable, clean and the food was yummy and not over-priced. Would stay again.

Pleasantly surprised
I was pleasantly surprised that the rooms were very comfortable a bit dated but clean the food in the restaurant was excellent. I will stay there again, and I will tell my friends that are in the area.

Rooms not cleaned well at all.. we understand it's a Historic Hotel but our rooms carpet was filthy, bathroom was horribly cleaned, I had to goto Save-ons to purchase Lysol wipes to clean bathroom and night stand.

Enjoyable time
The hotel was nicely updated inside. We got a room with a jetted tub. It was quite a large room, very well kept with a confortable bed. We ate at tue restaurant inside the hotel as well, food was great! Front desk and louge service was great! Would recommend

Staff were excellent. The restaurant had good food with good portions. Located near a grocery store and Tim Horton’s it is in a good location for travellers. Definitely not fancy and the price seemed higher than I’d normally pay for this but it seems demand is high as it seemed to be full with workers.

This is obviously a worker's hotel rather than a tourist hotel. The property has an industrial feel about it. This did not detract from its functionality. Our room was very clean and quiet, but the hallway carpets had been walked on with some very oily boots! The restaurant served a very good burger, and the staff were friendly and efficient.

The hotel was in a good location and the attached restaurant served some good food. The beds were not very comfortable and like to roll away from the wall making it some what uncomfortable to watch TV.

Great value, but a noisy hotel (we could hear full conversations of people in other rooms) - hotel does provide ear plugs. No elevators (vending and ice machines only on 1st floor) and hallways and stairs were dirty, likely due to the many workers who were staying in the hotel (the hotel does try to keep the dirt down with boot cleaners inside and outside of the property).

Location is good. Our room was at the very end of the very dated hallway on the second floor. When we got to our door, it was left open. There was no staff around so we decided to figure it out as we were exhausted from our travels. When we finished opening the very squeaky door, our noses were hit with a very strange odor. On our dresser inside the room was a odor Eliminator contraption. A bucket with some sort of air freshener in it, with a small fan on top plugged in to the wall. It was very odd. Needless to say, the entire experience was awkward and well below average. The only positive, was the price was fairly inexpensive.
