Ocean Front Paradise Resort

“Yes!”

Absolutely satisfied! (Aug 4-6, 2008) Originally, I was concerned with e-booking, but was very pleased with the results. Good room, good location (for our itenerary), Good Price. Depends on what you want though, this is not a high rise with resturants and disco bars, it is a clean, quiet "bungalow" with the basic ammenities. It was very quiet and we had the beach to ourself. The owner/Mgr was swimming along side us. My 7 year old son forgot a favorite stuffed toy. Before I could call and inquire, management had alreay put it in the mail and forwarded to our home address at no charge. Need I say more!

“A basic 50's charming cottage”

Charming, outdated , clean, basic, cottage on the beach. We were not looking for a high-end accomodation. The beach was clean, long, quiet and the view was excellent. ......

“CLEAN AND GREAT LOCATION”

Room was very clean. In a great location on the beach, and close to great places to eat. My wife and i will definetly be back.

“Call if you are bringing a Pet”

I picked this hotel because it said it was pet friendly. We were visiting family in the area for Christmas and planned to take our 6 yr. old Lab. When we arrived I went in the office to sign in, and the owner greeted me by saying, you have a dog, a big dog? We don't allow big dogs. I told her the website said Pet Friendly. She told me I needed to call and tell her I was taking a dog, and then it had to be under 25 lbs. She charged us an extra $10 a night. Unfortunately this set the tone and made us feel unwelcome. They should spell out their restrictions on the website. I booked the hotel through Expedia and didn't call, so I learned a lesson there. But isn't booking through Expedia what makes it easy and unnecessary to call? Pet issue aside, it is a nice place to stay. The unit was clean, everything was in working order and of course the ocean is right there.

“Clean, cozy, on-the-beach and reasonably priced”

If your idea of a vacation is a fancy hotel with a pool and a 5 star restaurant, then this would not be the place for you...(but there are plenty of places like that nearby). If your idea of a vacation is a clean, quiet, comfortable place to relax, where you can walk out your front door and onto the beach to have your morning coffee, you will love this place. It is small and family run, so the owner takes pride in keeping the place nice. These are one bedroom apartments with tiny kitchens, where it is totally possible to cook all of your own meals if you choose to. There are also several very good, reasonably priced restaurants nearby. Each room has an ocean view from the front windows. The only thing I didn't love was the bed, which was a bit too firm for me.

“Overall Pleasantly Surprised.”

This motel is in a fantastic location -- right on the beach. The room was nicely equipped. A perfect place for families with kids and centrally located to restaurants.

“Peaceful Beachfront Hotel”

The is one of the few remaining "old Florida" beachfront motels that offers a full living room, kitchen and a seperate bedroom in each unit . It was right on the ocean with a fantastic view. It was exceptionally clean, and relaxing. We loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone who wants to take a moment to get away from their high energy life.
