“Best Hotel in Siena's Region”
The hotel was simply perfect: Lot of recreational options, outstanding service, terrific food, beautiful location....
“Great relaxing retreat!”
Borgo Pretale was a lovey place to relax away from it all for a few days but within easy reach of Siena and the Tuscan countryside. The scenery was stunning, rooms nice and lots of activities to do (including archery!). The restaurant also served very nice food.

“Borgo Pretale well worth making the effort to get there”
Hotel is set well away from main roads through woods up a hill, (wild bore can be seen). Our room was in a converted watch tower and was quiet restful and clean. A lot of activities available besides swimming and walks in the woods, so you can do as much or as little as you want. Television reception not good. Wifi available. Food good with a set menu varing every day. Staff very friendly and helpful and speak a number of different languages. Siena about twenty minutes away, San Gimignano about 35mins and Volterra 50mins.
“Superbe mais...”
La quitétude émanant de ce lieu est tout simplement magique, à prêt de 30 minutes de Siene, cet hôtel est un havre de paix, caché dans la campagne Toscane. Les chambres, malheureusement et bien qu'ayant un certain charme, auraient besoin d'une bonne rénovation) Je recommande également le trés bon restaurant de l'hôtel (attention au prix des vins qui sont trés chers, contentez-vous d'un Chianti et découvrez les autres vins ailleurs...)
“Borgo Pretale: très beaux batiments qui gagnet à rester inconnus”
Grosse déception: très fort potentiel, gâché par le personnel absolument pas à la hauteur. Peu d'indications en ville pour trouver le lieu, certaines trompeuses. Sans GPS en été de marche, très très difficile à trouver sans piquer une crise. L'établissement est au courant, mais aucune mesure n'est prise pour y remédier.
