“LOVED IT! "Muskoka feel" close to Booth Bay”

Highly Recommend!!!! My husband and I stayed here for two days as part of a 2 week road trip through Maine this summer...we LOVED this resort!! I think the $$rate was reasonable for what you got compared to some of the other places we stayed. (travelled in high tourist season/last minute bookings- first two weeks of August). It included an ocean front room with balcony, kingsize bed, wifi & tv, breakfast, kayaks, canoes, games, swimming pool, hot tub and beautiful grounds (purple hydrangeas everywhere!!) with just a short 4 minute drive to charming Booth Bay. We're from Canada and it had a real "Muskoka" feel to it! Road trips can be busy so it was nice after spending a touristy day in Booth Bay to head back to this calming resort and just chill by the pool #note- you'll have to eat dinner in town or 2 min, nearby is a very popular lobster place.# Our reception was warm and welcoming, the resort has gorgeous landscaping and the owner was very friendly and helpful...you can tell they really take care of this resort and have put their heart into it! We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our room...room: good size, very clean and comfortable...when I woke up I was looking directly at the ocean without even getting up!! Breakfast is served in the pavillion, buffet style; afterwards we took a kayak around the harbour or grab a chair with a water view at the pergola. All in all, we loved being so close to Booth Bay, but able to escape back to this lovely resort!

“Good hotel”

Nice grounds, friendly staff at front desk and at breakfast (Denis - keep up the great work and attention to detail.. you will do well at anything). Bernie was very friendly and gave good advice for what to do in the area. Intimidating to go kayaking and canoeing with so many lobster traps in the bay area in front of hotel. Ok for avid outdoor enthusiates. Interesting to watch the lobster fishing boats pick up lobster traps early in the morning. Loved the ping pong table. Nice outdoor pool, and tennis court - was not able to enjoy because of the rainy weather. The biggest king size bed I have ever seen.. very comfortable to sleep.
