“Very pleasant and convenient.”

The Hotel Solfoss is very comfortable and convenient for visiting nearby tourist sites. The hotel restaurant was also very good. Note a double bed in this hotel is really two singles made up separately and pushed together. Ask for a room on the river side.

“Very nice hotel”

Hotel Selfoss is a very nice hotel. It's located in a little town called Selfoss, just south of Reykjavik. The hotel is very clean and very modern. Make sure you try the lobster soup at the restaurant.

“Great first night in Iceland”

I arrived at Hotel Selfoss afer 23 hours of travel, and was delighted with my stay. The hotel was easy to find, parking was free, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. I had a nice view of the pond behind the hotel. This is not a luxury hotel, but more like a modest business hotel. Dinner in the hotel was excellent, and I noticed 2 other restaurants just across the street. Breakfast was included, and was very substantial.

“Worth the Money”

The staff at the Hotel Selfoss were incredibly friendly and helpful. Additionally, the food in the restaurant was top-knotch!
