No parking space on arrival, due to private event organized by other customers. Leftover food in the fridge from previous customers. No soap or shampoo available (all empty). Service not fitting the luxury status.

Chambre mal insonorisée
Propreté fauteuil de piscine a revoir ainsi que fauteuil cassé

Lieu très agréable, personnel gentil et serviable, grandes chambres.
Parfois certains équipements un peu désuets (plomberie) mais fonctionnels et cela n’ôte rien à la qualité du séjour.

Le déclin

Pas de télécommande dans une des chambres
Je trouve que l hôtel a reculé dans ses prestations

There was dried blood on bedsheets- a total health hygiene and had to be moved room due to it and heating didn’t work in the second room I was moved to

The hotel looks historically nice. A comfortable bed with marshmallow soft pillows (not always a good thing). I went to the Gym to use a spin-bike but it was broken Grrrrr to staff available to ask!
Due to a conference our breakfast had to be taken in the back of beyond and scored a 4/10.
My bathroom had a dripping hot tap. The bath was leaking underneath, I had to use my towels, it was obviously historical as the woodwork was rotten.

Lovely hotel with brilliant staff and great facilities, especially the Spa.
Parking was limited and the hotel although clean, is starting to look a little tired.

A lovely older property but very much in need of a lick of paint on the lower rooms level. One private room had a fist punch mark on the door which had just been left! Calling into question a single females safety. Only two tea bags which was poor. Room otherwise clean, smart. No heating on which was fair enough, but second quilt was fastened so tight it was like a straight jacket. Good idea to provide an extra one though, with the austerity of no heating.
