Private parties can bring their own food or we can provide a variety of buffets. Suitable for small christenings, anniversaries, funerals, birthday or office parties. Rooms

There is a comfortable, fully licensed lounge bar with books to borrow, maps and leaflets relating to places of local interest. In addition there are board and card games for our younger guests. Most rooms are quietly situated with some having glimpses of the sea. We have a spacious downstairs area with lounge, bar and dining room suitable for small gatherings of up to 40 guests. Private parties can bring their own food or we can provide a variety of buffets.

Dining

The breakfast menu is varied with a wide choice available to suit guests. This includes a selection of cereals, fruit and yogurts, smoked kippers, traditional English breakfasts and vegetarian options. If you have any dietary requirements we will endeavor to meet them wherever possible.

“Good Location”

This hotel is great for the town centre, but it can be a little difficult to find, its just up the steep hill next to the Police station. My room was a single room, and like most such rooms a little small. However, the toilet and shower were well proportioned and an effort made to make them modern. The room was located off the landing of the stairway so there was some noise and disturbance. The hotel provided a very good cooked breakfast and for the price paid I would say the standards I would consider were acceptable.

Idea room as we need 3 beds. Needs modernisation. Couldn't open windows, disapointing in this heat, one was wedged open with a pen. Friendly staff, hotel and beding was clean. Ok for 1 night. ideal location, central.
