“Not bad for the money”

“Super Super 8”

This hotel is under renervation or they have closed off annex sections. It was easy to get to, close to where I needed to be with friendly service. The room was clean and the a/c unit worked and didn't smell like a swamp.

It was a great stay. It would be nice if there were refrigerators in the rooms!

Breakfast was minimal. Room was OK.

“YIKES ! ! Super 8 South Portland ME”

Location and personel were very good to excellent but the motel was marginal at best. First room was wrong, key wouldnt work. after that we moved to another room - outlets on the walls were burned with pieces of plugs still hanging out! Refrig didnt work, had to have the AC/Heat turned on by reception (after messing with it for 30 mins), no fitted sheets and standard size pillow cases on king size pillows. Also something (ketchup or peanut butter I hope?) on the wall - and this was our second room! The pool as closed and had been all summer and the wireless internet did not work. Of course we paid very little little so cant complain too much. The bed and bathroom was clean and they were working on the other units.

“Needs more work”

The location is very good but the rooms themselves are lacking. The lights beside the bed were not plugged in and the bulbs over the sink needed to be played with to work. There was no holder for the t-paper, it sat on the bathtub. There was no garbage can at all and there were no tissues. There was no clock in the room either. The room was clean and the bed was okay. At 8 am there was not even any coffee at the continental breakfast. It was nonexistant!!! We stay at lots of Super 8s and this one certainly needs some work. The clerk at the desk was exceptional nice so that helped.

“Not bad for the price”

My boyfriend and I stayed at the motel instead of driving 2 1/2 hours home. The room was clean. The furniture was old looking and the sheets were a little too thin. It was very close to the highway and there was several 24 hour locations (7 11 and Dunkin Donuts) within walking distance. If you are looking for a cheaper place to stay that is clean and simple, this is that place.

“I would stay there if I was in the area.”

The room for the most part was clean. The bathroom floor was a little dirty. The service was excellent. The houseing around the hotel was that great with trash all over the place.

“not impressed”

It was old and the pillows were old, and the bed was not very comfortable. Breakfast was a JOKE.
