“An Awesome Hotel!”
The hotel had a VERY nice hot tub and a heated pool so you can swim indoors or outside.
“Great for Dogs!”
We have stayed in many hotels that allow dogs, and this was the best. While the main part of the hotel is a standard hallway format, the rooms set aside for dogs are located along the lower back wall of the hotel, and face directly into the back parking lot and a large grassy and wooded area. The rooms are quite clean, and very quiet, as they are partially underground. Our dog slept very well, so we did as well. I was very impressed with the hotel.
“Recommended”
We had a very nice room and will stay there again. Loved the hot tubs and pool. The Govneror's restaurant attached to the hotel though could not be recommended at all.
“Great Hotel”
Rooms were as booked, clean and very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and more than helpful! Have already stayed there again!
“A nice place with a lot for your money”
Microwave, fridge, coffeemaker, hairdryer, free internet and local calls, electric "shaitsu massage" chair in room, and a gym. Even provided a toothbrush when I found I'd left mine at home. Quiet, clean and easy to find.
“Helped make great memories of first Portland visit !”
VERY clean, new feeling and well appointed. Morning coffee and paper was a nice touch.However, security is so good I got locked out anfd had to walk around the complex to Registration when I moved the car to a parking space in back and my wife had both electronic keys !
“Great hotel for the money”
This hotel was centrally located to lots of fun things to do. The rooms were very clean and the bed had lots of pillows...6 to be exact. There was also a bonus in the room...a massage chair which was nice after a long day of walking around. I would definitely stay here again!!

Had a great stay. Enjoyed the pool since it was very hot. Very close and convenient to everything. Didn't care for the restaurant or its service, however.
“Great place to stay”
My family and I recently rented a house in Maine and needed a place to stay for the night before we could get the keys. After taking the red-eye, we needed to check in early and the hotel had no problem allowing us to check in at 9:00 a.m. (at no extra charge). After a much-needed nap, the kids went swimming in the heated pool. There is a restaurant right next door that has great food. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning on visiting the South Portland area.
