The property was nice as well as the staff. The only problem that I had and I know others did as well was the key card to the doors. I had to go to the front desk twice during a 4 day stay. We struggled each time when trying to get into the room. The cards were programmed twice. That was frustrating especially after check in when you just got off the highway from traveling over 5 hours.

Breakfast staff used their fingers without gloves, to clean the utensils off into the community breakfast food, hard boiled egg was raw. Pool was not heated and knob was missing from hot tub so no jets. Many bright lights around the property, safe but difficult for blocking it all out at night. No complementary coffee or tea in dinning room. No maid service on our second to last day.

Had a light fixture fall on me and my wife while in the elevator, manager claims they’re not liable for anything that happens in the elevator.
Well I guess I’ll be escalating this to TDLR since the hotel apparently doesn’t take responsibility for their own elevators. On the good note
Jason the host was the only genuine person there . Every one else seems to hate there time at the hotel giving attitude for no reason.

Great for families, stayed here with my three little ones and they enjoyed it so much. You can walk to the beach. Safe and very clean hotel. We will be back! Ohhh and the breakfast was AWESOME! Very crowded and not a lot of seating but overall cannot complain.

Unorganized staff. I was sent to a room where the entire floor was under construction. I had to request to be moved. House keeping did a partial cleaning, either do it all or stay away.

Airborne toxins were present because of rooms being renovated. Breathing in airborne toxins truly is a deal breaker for me. I was told that a manager would contact me about my request for a discount on my room. Perhaps it was simply an oversight or the person working the desk lied to me. I believe I should have been refunded my payment because of the airborne toxins; but, management and staff simply expected me to be happy breathing in toxins and go on my way with no complaint.

Overall happy with our stay, only thing that could have been better was if the room was ready for us. We got a room with two beds and a fold out. The room was for six, two adults and four children. It would have been nice if the blankets and pillows were in the room and ready for us. Overall it was a nice stay but the pictures compared to reality were not the same.

Clean, comfortable room, great breakfasts. The bad, pool and hot tub closed the whole week I was there (one of the main reasons I chose this hotel). At checkin I was told they might be open in 3 days, or by the weekend. Any time I went to check I was told "We dont know". Sadly, I never got to use hot tub at all.
I would have rated this hotel as excellent but the free breakfast needs a little fine tuning. Otherwise a nice hotel. You gotta look hard for the entrance though, it is a little tricky.
Property was two blocks from the beach. A giant condo building was between beach and hotel.

The swimming pool and hot tub were closed for maintenance (unknown at the time of booking). The jetted bathtub in my room didn’t work. The room door handle would stick, making it difficult to open the door.

Limited options for tv and channels. Pool under renovation. Entrance to property difficult to see from the road. Exiting the parking lot to busy main road crosses bicycle lane. People riding the wrong direction on bicycle lane makes pulling out dangerous especially at night.
Advertised heated pool unavailable without warning
Bad circumstances collided. We booked the hotel specifically because of the advertised heated pool only to arrive and find the pool under construction. Then we found out only two housekeeping staff showed up so the room was delayed. We wound up going elsewhere because we wanted the heated pool for the kids. If a major advertised amenity is unavailable, there should be some warning on the website (even checked the hotel website prior to booking through hotels.com. The hotel may be plenty nice otherwise but we spent money for something that was unavailable.
Pool was torn up- no idea this was going to happen. Lobby bathrooms not working. Room given wasnt what was booked. Moved to another room that smelled like paint. Shower broken. Very poor place to stay

Every time we stay the carpet smells worse beds are GREAT, but carpet in rooms smell like mold, if they can upgrade tvs maybe carpet should be PRIORITY, shower chair was broke, didnt bother to use it

Even partial Ocean View is not great. Palm trees hide the visibility. Had to pay extra which is not worth it!

I loved everything about my stay here, from the heated pool, down to the pillows, even the sheets and the breakfast was soooo nice! I would recommend to anybody considering staying at the island! This is my new go to place to stay <3

Staff was friendly and accommodating but when I brought to their attention to 2 different front desk employees, one young Lady in the morning and later to a Gentleman about requesting a work order on the bathroom sink that did not drain properly and the problem did not got fixed. I don’t think any one showed up to fixed the issue at all.
