"Amazing Hotel! I didn't want to leave!! Loved it!!"
My husband and I stayed at The Zetta this weekend because we were in SF to see a comedy show at The Warfield (Bo Burnham is AMAZING!! If you don't know who he is you've gotta check him out on YouTube!!). The hotel staff was SO nice! Valet overnight parking was $50, but that's the going rate at all the hotels in that area. Plus The Warfield was only a 5 minute walk from The Zetta so it was definitely worth it! The bed was super comfy & the room had a huge flat screen TV & a speaker system set up for your iPhone! The Zetta also offers FREE wi-fi unlike a lot of the other hotels in the Market/SOMA district which charge $15/night! The minibar was stocked with a large variety of beers, liquor, wine, juices, sodas, candies & snacks & the in-room espresso maker was awesome! I made late night (10:30pm!) dinner reservations online for The Cavalier (the hotels restaurant/bar) and even though the place was a little busy, the moment we walked in without asking any questions the hostess said, "You must be Ashley...right this way..."! She led us to a great corner table where we enjoyed complementary champagne (complements of the hotel) & the BEST ribeye steak I've ever had! I would make the 1.5 hour drive just to eat that steak again! So please believe me when I say, if you're not too sure where to stay in San Francisco and you're going back and forth comparing hotels (like I did!), stop right now and book a room at The Zetta! You will NOT be disappointed!

"Great Location, Good Price, Nice Room"
Basic hotel, conveniently located a couple blocks from Pike's Market and the piers. The MOORE venue is attached to the hotel and has iconic acts not to be missed while staying here. The service was good, every time we had a request or concern it was handled promptly. The carpet out in the hallway on our floor was cheetah print..very cute. Our original room had an awesome bathroom with a cool old clawfoot tub and nice tile. The bed was okay. The furnace was super loud at night though and there were a bunch of drunk, loud men in the next room so we requested another room for subsequent nights and were moved up a couple floors to a different room. The view in the new room was great, we could see the water. The furnace in the new room was quiet so we didn't have any problem sleeping. There is no way to control the room temperature but it was always kept comfortable. There was a smallish TV which was fine because we weren't in our room for much other than sleeping. The bathroom in the new room wasn't as nice and was a bit cramped. There is restricted access to the rooms which kept them secure. We were a little disturbed however that our room switch was not recorded properly so there was a couple that literally used a key to walk in on us one day. Overall we were pleased with our stay. The hotel is very basic but for the location and price, it's a cute offbeat little place to stay.

When you’re ready to explore the area, make your first stop the Yerba Buena Gardens.

Part urban nature centre, part museum row, this spot in town is a city favourite. Feel free to stretch out on the soft grass in the sunlight or duck into any of the museums if the weather goes sour. The park is home to the Children’s Creativity Museum, Cartoon Art Museum, and the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. If you’re in SoMa during baseball season, don’t miss a San Francisco Giants game. The ballpark is often considered one of the most attractive in the country, as homeruns splash down into McCovey Cove. You can even rent a boat and float in the bay, waiting for a homerun ball to fly into the waters. If you prefer paint splashes over sea mist, make your way to CounterPULSE. This funky theatre is a hot spot of art and activism, with eclectic art and dance performances throughout the year.

One thing that’s never just for show is the great deal you can get on hotels in South of Market when you book with Expedia. Whether you want to stay by the park or ballpark, we only offer the top discounts on hotels in San Francisco, so you can find the perfect accommodations.
