Our experience was very negative. When we arrived later at night, we checked in through a glass window outside. When we got to our room, there were people roaming around by it. Our room smelled musky and was not fully clean. After checking the room, we noticed the windows did not lock, so we did not feel safe. We left the motel that night. When contacting the manager in the morning to cancel the rest of our reservation, he was very rude on the phone. He said there was a policy that he would not cancel weekend dates, but then refused to send the policy through email or tell us where to find the policy. He then said this policy is his own policy and that he tells people on the phone when they book with him. Fortunately, Expedia helped us to get refunded for one of the three nights we paid for.
