“very enjoyable”
We selected this hotel based on location, center to everything and moderately priced. We were very happy to see the upgraded bedding, flat screen tv, large room including refrigerator, microwave, and Kureg coffee maker. The staff was friendly and very helpful when questioning how to operate the heating. Burlington, VT was also great.

The hotel was right off the highway, so access was a breeze. Service and accommodations were exceptional. The room was clean and the hotel bar was well staffed. I highly recommend this hotel!

The Holiday Inn was very comfortable & I felt a home! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The food at the restaurant was absolutely amazing! The hotel is in a great location and I look forward to returning.

I was very pleased with this hotel. It was comfortable, very clean, and though we did not swim, the pool area looked very inviting! Close to UVM, our destination for the day. Great stay!

We planned our trip to Vermont but did not count on a hurricane. We had our grandchildren stay two nights so they could have some fun, some sleep and good food and give our daughter and son in law a chance to regroup. Every employee from manager to maid was great. We would stay again.

What can I say Burlington is beautiful, the Holiday Inn was great as well. Visit there you will love it.
“Comfortable and up to date”
I am a native of South Burlington, and this hotel first opened when the Interstate highway came through in the early 1960s. Thankfully they have performed regular renovations, and the rooms seem thoroughly up-to-date. We have stayed here three times over the past year. Each time, the front desk people have been very pleasant and efficient, and the check-in experience takes just a few moments. (Ask for as many Internet vouchers as you have devices—each pass will work for just one device, such as a smartphone or a laptop.) The room itself is standard shoebox shape. But over the past year they have been replacing CRT-TVs with flatscreens, and there is an understandable climate control system. Best part: the heat/AC is NOT one of those noisy units installed under the window, but a very quiet central system. The shower/bath is smallish, but the shower arm is a telescoping variety with a rain-shower head. Just right. We did not feel at all like we were staying in a 50 year old building. Very comfortable, and recommended.
“UVM visit”
We were on a college visit to UVM. Location was perfect. We had a long drive and arrived late at night around 11:30 pm. We had to be at the tour by 7:45 am. Normal check out time is noon. The tour ended at noon. They let us have a 2:00 pm check out, at no extra charge.
