The hotel is on the old Town Square with easy access to transportation and sights. The hotel staff were not as helpful or pleasant as we have experienced in other hotels. Barring this, we would highly recommend this hotel.

This historic hotel is on the town square. Nice areas to talk and nice restaurants. It was a 15 minute walk to the train station.

What a treat after long drive!!! Beautiful hotel in great location. Small but clean and comfortable room with parking. Breakfast was great and service outstanding.

Luxury hotel at old town square
Very confortable room with big bathroom and floor heating right at old city square. It is about 15 minutes walk from train and bus station and there are a number of attractions within walking distance. The hotel restaurants serve good food but the breakfast is pretty basic. Most shops are closed in the evening with only a few eateries open at night.

Very Nice Hotel!!!
Very nice hotel located on a very pretty Plaza with lots of restaurants. The room had a coffee maker and a small refrigerator. The breakfast was very good. The Hotel has a parking garage. The Hotel was a bit difficult to get to due to construction and the pedestrian zones. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice view from room facing the famous town square
Great location easy walk from Main Train/Bus Terminal. Room was comfy breakfast was ok. Would recommend Restaurance U Solne brany (3 mins walk from Zvon) Excellent food great chef/staffs with reasonable prices.

Great location
The hotel is located directly on the Old Town Square across from the City Hall, which houses the information centre. It is also an easy 10 minute walk from the bus or train station. The room was had was a very generous size looking out onto the square. The breakfast, which was included with our room rate, was fine. The staff were very pleasant and we enjoyed the stay.

If price reduction we got, according to Expedia website from £320 to £94 for 2 nights, Zvon Suites was the best and cheapest hotel I have ever stayed in!! Would have paid more than £94 but never £320. Price included parking which was essential as difficult to park around city centre and you do not need a car to explore Ceske Budejovice. You will, however need it (if you do not opt for a boat which runs during high season) to go to Hluboka Castle/Chateau which is a must and one of the most beautiful castles/chateaus I have ever seen - most likely the nicest. For: Excellent location - the best if you have room facing the square which is one of the most beautiful in the world - in the very centre of Ceske Budejovice. Places to sit, drink and eat all around the square as well as very easy walking distance. For: Comfort and cleanliness. For: Security. For: Gourmet restaurant on first floor with excellent food and very reasonable prices. I had the duck and D had the lamb + soups + red wine recommended by our waiter + desert For: Pleasant staff For: Magnificent building with a lot of history. For: If you like a massage at great price the concession within the hotel is excellent - 45 mins aromatherapy Kcs 410 (about £11.38 at Kcs 36 for £1 we changed in Prague - you get better rate changing cash in the country but make sure all notes are completely unmarked). Against: Very nice downstairs restaurant full of smoke and same applied to the outside covered space so we did not eat there

Small town elegance
This hotel is in a building that is over 500 years old! It has been decorated in a lavish style, is very clean, rooms are huge with 10 foot ceilings, and the. Dinner at t he restaurant w as wonderful as was the breakfast. One of the nicest and affordable places we have ever booked!

Excellent Hotel
While it required 10 minutes walk from the railway station, location was ideal, a corner of the mail square of the town and in front of beautiful Rathouse. Room was quite spacious and clean, providing free Mini-Bar daily refillled. (Wines, Beer, Soft Drink, Snaks etc.) Staffs were very kind and friendly. In fact, knowing that we had to leave the hotel very early morning on the last day, they prepared very nice lunch box for us voluntarily. This is surely one of the best hotels we ever stayed all over the world.

Location, quality and value, difficult to beat.
Apart from the difficulty of convincing reception that we were booked it was an excellent bargain, we were even upgraded to the Executive Suite, a most beautiful accommodation.

Z hotelu je fantastický výhled na náměstí - pokud máte okna tím směrem, postel pohodlná, teplo - snad jediné dva nedostatky byly rozpadající se sprchová baterie a špatně umytý hrneček na pokoji. Proto nedávám plný počet bodů.

Las suites son grandes. Cama cómoda y buena vista a plaza del pueblo. El aire acondicionado no funcionaba, la mampara de la ducha se salía el agua, no salía agua bien caliente en ducha. Parking que si sacas el coche y llegas y está lleno pierdes el sitio. Recepcionistas desagradable. Desayuno pobre en variedad y calidad. Personal sin interés por ayudar en nada. No merece las estrellas que tiene. Decepción total.

Superbe chambre sur la place comme la salle du petit déj. très bien. Personnel de la réception insatisfaisant et pour la blanchisserie le prix pour un t-shirt est le même que pour un repas , grotesque. La facture est débitée avant votre arrivée, pas de choix pour le type de payement inacceptable

Buen hotel. Las habitaciones tienen su encanto: techos altos, camas cómodas, armario enorme, muy limpio y con vistas a la plaza de la ciudad en pleno centro. Se aparca bien, pero con las limitaciones del parquimetro. Solo hubo una cosa que no me gusto: la television no permite que conectes tu propio usb ni que conectes con tu servicio de streaming/chromecast. A dia de hoy, para los que somos extranjeros y estamos de ocio en Chequia sin conocer wl idioma local, se hace imprescindible poder usar la television para proyectar tus propias series , peliculas etc. Una lastima. Otro de los puntos: la habitacion tenia una bañera enorme... pero uno no podia ducharse sin salpicar todo el baño... hubiera estado mejor una ducha enorme.
