When making the reservation the description in Hotel website is misleading, breakfast very limited, not very safe around the hotel, spoke to the staff to let them know the Tv wasn't working and they told they will fixed it but they never did, the indoor pool was never open and neither the outdoor pool, they gave me 2 keys for the room but one of them wasn't working and staff was mia most of the time and also the ac wasn't working properly so it was really hot. Never going back to the hotel unless they improve their service.

Thank you so much for completing our online review. I apologize that it does not seem that you enjoyed your stay here with us. I would like to assure you that are location is very safe. I am not sure why staff did not get your tv repaired for you and that your ac was not working. I assure you that I will look into this matter immediately. I will also apologize for our pool not being open. We are currently waiting on a part for the pool heater so that we may put the indoor pool back in service. Although the weather has been warmer lately, it is still to soon to be opening the outdoor pool here in Indiana. After memorial day we hope that the outdoor pool will have had plenty of time to warm up.

A bit noisy (fridge and heater). Bath all one room so couldn't awkward for two people at a time. Easy check in and out. Convenient to main road but didn't hear room noises.

I love the calming environment and the cleanliness of the hotel. A bit bummed that the indoor pool is closed, but that was a minor setback. I am looking forward to checking out breakfast in the morning.

The property is not what is advertised. The place is very outdated, no water for the in-room coffee pot, and a minimal microwaved breakfast.

We had two rooms here, one for myself and my partner, and one for my parents. One of the rooms was inside the building, with an indoor corridor. It was quite nice and felt much safer than the other room, which was more like a motel room, where the door to the room led out to the parking lot. The rooms themselves were very clean and nicely appointed with refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. However, one of the rooms did not have hot water in the morning. The manager explained that was because the hotel was fully booked and that there would be more hot water in about an hour once the boilers refilled. I think a hotel should have hot water for all of its rooms at all times or something is wrong with the infrastructure. The complimentary breakfast is adequate but nothing special. I think this hotel is decent for its price point, particularly due to the friendliness of the staff and its cleanliness.

The day time clerk was super friendly and helpful! I forget his name but he was the best I’ve ever encountered. Your overnight staff not as much. The whole first floor hall way smelled like weed the entire time. I thought there was a smoking fine. Apparently not.

I assure you that we do not allow smoking in our hotel and that if the perpetrator can be identified they are fined. Unfortunately, we cannot stop guest from coming in and breaking the rules.

Called before booking to make sure pool in order (grandchildren) advised working. Got to check in, was advised heat in pool room out but pool still heated and fine to swim. Pool was freezing. Unable to swim. Asked for refund to move hotels, advised no because was advised of heat issue at check in. Clearly wouldn’t have checked in had they been honest (either time). Ended up leaving anyway and booked different hotel

The staff at this hotel is absolutely amazing. The young woman at the front desk was so kind and went out of her way to provide the best service. The young man this morning was equally as kind. Even the maintenance man I met in the hallway was kind. The fitness room was well appointed, clean, and functional. The hotel itself is a little older and has been updated in some areas, but is rather dated in others. After taxes this room was $82 for our one night stay. I find that to be an incredible value! I have stayed in $160/night hotels that were not nearly as nice as this one. But, primarily, I would like to commend the staff who do an awesome job. Thank you!

Front desk was friendly and helpful, room was clean, bed comfy, quiet, convenient with outside door for loading and unloading suitcases, breakfast had many good items, staff there was also helpful, hotel is bigger than it looks, hotel hallways in goodcondition, decorated for Notre Dame has gorgeous indoor pool (didnt use) and also an outdoor one! Price was extremely reasonable- would stay again. Cons: indoor pool room heater broken, stepped on two nails IN OUR ROOM, fortunately the side and not the point!, room tub plug laying on the side of tub upon arrival (broken) heater unit is noisy

Made a trip to the car around 10:15, returning to the entrance my key card would not work, had to call the front desk to have someone let me back in. It appears that someone jumped the gun on deactivating my key cards before the 11:00 checkout time. The attendant was polite, and also unlocked the door to my room for me, so I could make final trip to the car.

I had read all the previous reviews and I think some people were just in a bad mood! It was a great location for my stay, friendly and easy check in. Questions answered upon request and even the front desk person came to my room to reset the TV. I will stay again!

We've visited the Clover a couple of times, and like this hotel. Easy access to rooms via multiple enterances, affordable. Comfortable beds, great service, big space in the main area of the rooms. A few downsides: small bathroom, very small and dated TVs. The hotel felt a bit run down this time, issues with the lighting in the breakfast room (keeps turning on and off), issues with the heating in the pool area (too cold), and issues with the card key system (don't have access to the rooms after 10 am due to daylight savings leading to timing issues they haven't fixed).

Stayed for 2 nights during Christmas week. Very quiet and very few guests were there. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The water in bathroom took awhile to get hot and the coffee maker did not work. Fortunately there is a Dunkin right across the street. The breakfast was typical of most motel/ hotel free breakfasts. The pub was not open which was disappointing but understandable due to limited guests. Overall satisfactory and would stay there again for short stay.

This is a very noisy place. Sadly, a main reason is built into the walls. The TV, at least in the room I was in, isn’t *on* the wall, it’s *in* the wall, so that means that if your neighbor is watching anything above a quiet volume, you get it as well. I should not be able to hear, word for word with crystal clear audio, what my neighbor is watching. Staff was split - the woman who was at check in was very kind, very helpful, etc. The late night guy was either outside with his friends or on his phone. Location seemed sketchy, bathroom floor had puddles from who knows where, and it was an overall poor experience. Wouldn’t be my first choice.
