“Very good base for seeing Perth and surrounding area”

Enjoyed staying at Sorrento. The rooms were spacious and clean. We had a balcony overlooking the beach. Whilst there is a road between the resort and the beach, it is not busy and during the evening and night is pretty calm so we were not disturbed by any traffic noise. Hilary's boat harbour a short walk away is a great place for shops and eating. The beach is gorgeous, very clean and well designed amentities. We loved the BBQ area by the pool, this was great. Would stay again

“Sorento on the Sunset Coast”

The hotel is clean and spacious, aircon is essential and worked very well. We had the spa suite looking over the Indian Ocean worth every penny. The resort is close to local restaurants and a few major attractions like the Aquarium and the Rottnest ferry. Ideal location if you are visiting relatives in the north of Perth. recommended.

“Beautiful ocean view from unit”

Everything was as expected. The ocean view from our room was perfect. Everything was done when it was suppose to be. Staff very friendly.

“Beautiful Beach”

Great location--right across from the best strip of white sand beach I've ever seen. We had a two bedroom apartment--lots of room. Milk in the fridge was a nice touch. This is a bare-bones kind of place but for the cost a great deal. The room could have been cleaner--hard to do when you are right across from the beach though.

“may be noisy on road side”

Good hotel and good location but beach side is next to main road so could be noisy. Our spa produced a never ending stream of someone else's hair. No oven may be an issue for some. Quiet enough on side away from the road. Sorted out repairs very quickly and reception very nice and helpful. TV channels restricted unless you pay extra. However, clean, comfortable and we'd go back. You need a car.

“5 Star Location!”

Nice large room and great location, I would strongly suggest paying the extra for an ocean view room as it's well worth it. Only negative would perhaps be the traffic noise could be heard from inside the room, however wasn't busy at night.

“Sorrento is great place to stay”

Excellent location - pulled the curtains and woke to glorious sunshine, the ocean and heaps of people running, walking or cycling along the foreshore. Close to facilities, cafe on corner (bfast & coffee) voted best in 2010 in WA, shopping centre (supermarket etc) close by, Restaurant at resort and bus stop near Hilarys Boat Harbour which goes to train station. Reception staff very helpful & free internet access in reception. Cant wait to come back.

“great place to stay”

We stayed with a nearly 2 year old and a 6 month old and found the room and the location to be wonderful. Lots of room to stay comfortably with the kids, right across the road from the beach to go for a play and a short walk to Hillary's. Would stay again and recommend to friends and family. The only thing that was a slightly disappointing was that the pool was heated so wasn't refreshing on a warm day, but would be a perk in the colder months and the beach is only across the road. ;-)
