“Beautiful relaxed oasis of calm”
We totally loved our stay at Villa Savarese. The hotel, gardens and pool were beautiful and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. After the crowds in Sorrento, Capri, etc it was always a pleasure to come home to our little oasis of calm. Thoroughly recommended.
“Absolutely Wonderful”
This is a charming villa with excellent service. We had a lovely stay and the staff was extremely helpful. I highly recommend it.
“Best small hotel we've ever been to. Will go back.”
An excellent family run small hotel. Very peaceful place to relax. Helpful staff and management offered great local advice.
“Wow! What an experience - Angela thank you so much.”
The hotel was easy to get to by getting on the Alibus or 5S outside the airport to Naples train station 3 euros per person. The train to St. Agnello was 3.20 euros each - you get off the stop before Sorrento. Walk to the main road - 30 secs - and turn left walk until you find the signs for the Hotel Caravelo and the entrance to Relais Villa Seravesa is the big gate before the Htl Caravelo. Ring the bell and you will have a warm welcome and an amazing view of the house. All staff are great, the rooms are beautiful and Angela's food is something else. Nothing was too much trouble - even for me a vegetarian!! The Moonlight Restaurant, just a short walk away, was lovely and highly recommended forget the Restaurant Conalon!! cannot remember the name properly but the service was dreadful although the food was good - they catered more for the locals to the detriment of visitors unfortunately. Take the bus ride along the Amalfi coast 5.40 euros return each(you can only buy a return ticket from the tabac at the top of the road) it is an amazing journey and then take the boat back to Sorrento - a luxury 2 hr cruise - glorious for 7 euros each. Pompeii is a much as is Herculeneum - all of the tourist attractions are so easy to get to by either train or bus. Most train journeys are either 1 or 3 euros each and you can get return tickets for most journeys. Once again thanks Angela and staff for a truely wonderful week spent with you and we hope to see you again soon.
“Sain't Agnello”
The owner of the hotel and the staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. One example of this was when we had arrived the owner had upgraded our room because she had the availability and instead of the room being unoccupied gave it to us. It is about a twenty five minute walk into Sorrento from the hotel but we preffered being a little bit further out and enjoyed the walk. There is a bus but the timetables weren't available so we didn't get it. Taxi cost 15 Euro's each way for a two minute ride so isn't cheap. It's also a ten minute walk from the Saint Agneello train station and the bus stop for the bus to and from Naples Airport. The Moonlight restaurant which is just round the corner is also highly recommended and is a lot cheaper than the resteraunts in Sorrento with the same quality of food.
“Beautiful hotel”
Quite simply the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The room was beautiful with a terrace overlooking the sea to the left and the mountains to the right. The owner Angela and all her staff were extremely helpful; nothing was too much trouble. The pool was sheer escapism. Our room was very comfortable and spotless.
“Relaxing and would visit again”
Although rather difficult to find, well worth the drive round for 30 min. in trying to locate. Family-run with excellent service and the most fantastic breakfast freshly cooked every morning.
“Fantastic short break”
We had a lovely week, it exceeded our expectations, the staff were very friendly and helpful, such a lovely place. Situated off the main tourist area which suited us very well, although there are a few bars, plenty of good restauarants and some small local shops in Sant Agnello which are worth exploring. We enjoyed the 20 minute walk into Sorrento which may not be suitable for couch potatoes, though buses and trains run into Sorrento. May not suit those with children who want activity. Top class...............
“Amazing”
This hotel was absoloutely amazing. It was our honeymoon and we decided to cut our trip to Positano short to have a couple of nights in Sorrento. As soon as you arrive, you know that you're somewhere special. It's perfect for couples or anyone who wants to relax as much as possible. The only downside is that it's a good 15 minute walk into Sorrento, but the standard of the hotel more than makes up for that. It was a real gem and we will return for sure.
“An Oasis of Peace”
We arrived hot and bothered as we had missed the turn onto the motorway from the airport so a 60 minute journey took over 3 hours!! Beware Italian road signs or lack of them. We found a wonderful, peaceful, small comfortable hotel/guest house, it was like staying in someones own home. The room was spacious and elegant, the bathroom small but sufficient. It was clean and kept clean every day. The staff were unobtrusive but efficient and helpful. The breakfast was freshly prepared and I only wish we could have eaten more!! We were offered lunch and drinks whilst lazing around the beautiful pool under the lemon trees. It is about a mile into the centre of Sorrento but this was no problem as a good walk in the warm sunshine allowed us to indulge in the wonderful Italian food with a clear conscience!! All in all a wonderful break we would definitely go back.
