“A recommander”
“great sanctuary on the cliffs”
A really extraordinary stay. Congenial atmosphere and fabulous design.
“Amazing property with private beach”
We spent 7 nights at the hotel and enjoyed everything about the hotel. Our room was the largest that we have ever had in Europe. The hotel is situated away from the city center but is only about a 10 - 15 minute walk. The views and grounds are amazing and the hotel has a beautiful private beach. We didn't have a lot of interaction with the staff but what interaction was average and not overly good or bad. The only bad experience we had was when we took the shuttle to the bus to leave we were dropped off about 10 blocks andhad to walk with all of our luggage. They did not tell us that up front. Overall I would stay at hte hotel again and highly suggest this hotel.
“What a view!”
It was all you would expect from a 5-star hotel. The room and bathroom were spacious; there was a balcony with two chairs and a table where one could sit and take in the fabulous view; the restaurant overlooked the Bay and provided an excellent buffet breakfast to suit all tastes, as well as a comprehensive dinner menu; the staff was attentive at all times. We were there mid-October and the season was winding down, so the hotel was not too busy.
“A place in Paradise”
It is an exceptional location, especially if you can get a room facing the golf. Service excellent, Large spacious room. Food excellent in the restaurant but in all honesty we did not use the breakfast option (Italian hotels not well known for breakfast) -- you are better off with some fruit that you can buy in Sorrento or Sant'Agnello. When we were there -- over Easter -- pool was not functioning neither lift descending to the sea level. But no issue there, the large luxurious terrace which overlooks the sea is something out of this world. If you want a treat of Paradise try it.
“A clean Hotel with a great staff, a magnificent pool and swimming in the Mediteranean Sea”
We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is older, but well maintained. Our room was booked thru Expedia and we had an Oceanfront room with incredible views from Vesuvius to Capri. The on-site restaurant had terrific service and the food was expensively delicious! We had informative conversations with the English speaking staff who extended every courtesy and told us everything we needed to know. The two elevators down to the beach led us to a magnificent European setting with our choice of several chaise lounge areas on the Sea. The in-ground pool and terrace was absolutely breath-taking!
“Great place to stay”
The hotel is wonderful, all the facilities you would want, especially the beach with a handy bar! It is only a 15 minute walk from Sorrento Town Centre down fairly quiet roads. The hotel shuttle bus is useful too. Great place to stay!
“great view”
Everything about the hotel is a 10 except the people at the front desk....they were rude and not helpful at all. I would go back to the hotel...beautiful gardens and wonderful location on the sea...
“Our Mediterranean palace in Sorrento... We can't wait to return!”
I only have 1 word to describe this hotel...... "Wow"! What some may describe as "dated" I describe as chic and sophisticated. The hotel was clean and well placed on the cliff-side. Our room had a huge patio overlooking the ocean with million dollar views..... Heaven! The food was great, I had the best cappuccino of my life, every morning, while taking in the breathtaking views. I found the staff professional, and helpfull. If I had any constructive feedback to provide at all it would be that this is obviously a well-loved and well appreciated resort locally, hosting corporate events, photo shoots and weddings a-plenty almost every day of the week we were there. However, the resort was clearnly mindfull of respecting thier guests and we were not negatively impacted at all. We will be back! Soon.......
“Great value, wonderful service”
Very impressed with this hotel. They bumped us up to a seaview for free. The service was wonderful overall, but restuarant service could be a bit more friendly. Great seaviews, sunsets, and views of the bay of naples. The hotel is also situated in a well maintained botanical garden, which made this hotel like no other that we went to in Italy. The pool, seaside swimming, full gym and the other complimentary services made this one of our favorite hotels in Italy. One word of caution, it can get loud b/c of the tile floors throughout and modern construction.
