“Very Chilled”
The hotel is set in the most breath taking location, and the views over to Capri are fantastic. The check in at the hotel took a long time as there was only one person dealing with hotel guests and day visitors to the 'Sea/Club' which is part of the hotel. This is not a luxury hotel but it is very peaceful and chilled out. The staff are helpful when approached but there are not people readily available to cater for every whim! Do not got to this hotel without a car as it is very secluded. The drive down to the restaurant/pool/snack bar is extremely tricky as it a single track road with terrifying corners and gradients.
“Great views and character”
This hotel was well located between Sorrento and Massa Lubrense, with lovely views across the bay to Capri. It could have done with some upgrading and a bath would have been nice. There was no air-conditioning or fan, so it was very hot at night but reasonably quiet. Apart from Reception, the hotel is not staffed, so feels a bit more like a private villa or hostel. Free shuttle into Sorrento was good, too. Breakfast was served at the sister hotel down on the beach, a lengthy walk or drive but was worth it when you got there and use of the beach facilities there was good, too. ( Seawater pool). So, if you don't mind a bit of inconvenience, you can access 4 star facilities for a three star price.
“not impressed”
the room was lovely clean and with a wonderful view. The hotel is advertised as bed and breakfast the main problem with this statment is that the breakfast was in the sister hotel which was at the bottom of the cliff down a very narrow steep road. this road has a lot of traffic going down to the beach? in the morning and is almost impossible to get back up after breakfast
“Wont be rushing back!”
Was rather disappointed with this hotel as went there for my husbands 40th birthday! The hotel is located on top of a cliff and all the facilities are at the sister hotel at bottom of the cliff, there is nowehere to even buy a drink at the hotel and it is an extremely long walk to other hotel especially on way back up!!!! Hotel do lay on a mini bus up and down between hotels and to and from Sorrento but you find yourself constantly checking the time to make sure you do not miss the bus! Our room was kept clean to be fair, but half the time we did not have any water coming out of shower or taps and had to ring reception while they got the pump working again which was very awkward if you were in the middle of a shower! Also patio outside our room was filthy. Hotel is out of way and you are not within walking distance of any bars and restaurants so rather cut off and cabs very expensive. Would not recommend this hotel for relaxing hols unless you enjoy hill walking!!!!
“Unexplained refurbishment”
We were meant to be staying at La Maison (3*) but upon arrival we were told this was not possible due to refurbishment instead we were put in the sister hotel (4*) - result we thought! After a 3 hour wait we were shown our room which had obviously been made up very hurredly-bare wires everywhere! Over the next 2 days lights were fitted, shower screens fitted and make shift TV and hair dryer supplied-this was a 4* hotel! Lots of work still going on at hotel which nobody had told us about in advance. Staff very friendly but we won't be rushing back!!

pas propre, personne ne parle français, pas de petit déjeuner sur place, il faut prendre une navette pour aller manger,nager meme la piscine!
