“No Frills Value for money.”

This is a budget hotel and its important to pitch your expectations at that level Having said that my expectations were exceeded. Our room was simple but tasteful, comfortable and clean (and the maid service was very good indeed!) On the first day we had a problem with the light switch in the bathroom and the electrician arrived first thing the next day to fix it. Breakfast was plentiful and of a reasonable quality. The dining room staff were charming and very helpful as indeed were all of the staff we encountered. The location of the hotel is good and the swimming pool area in the citrus grove at the back of the hotel is lovely. Secluded and relatively quiet in spite of the proximity to the railway line and the main street at the front. This hotel offers superb, no frills value for money and is an ideal base for a laid back week in Sorrento or for exploring the region..

“Hotel Tourist - Pleasantly surprised”

Hotel comfortable & clean, acceptable for 3 star. Suggest taking ear plugs as traffic noise constant (Boots ear mufflers worked great). Only used the pool once - cold, but very cooling as the weather was hot (late September!). Pool area good place to start or end each day. Staff were lovely, really helpful, they booked taxi's & boat trips for us & always asked if we had a good day wherever we had been. Housemaids rather keen to get into room before the 9am breakfast cut off time, but early breakfasts meant you could get out & make more of the day. Bus stops nearby for easy travel down to Marina Grande (recommend this beach, not too overcrowded & nice eating places). Would recommend this hotel if you are not planning on staying on the premises all day, otherwise would suggest a 4 star hotel instead. Hotel suited our requirements perfectly for th 6 nights we stayed there. Thanks Hotel Tourist!!

“Hotel Tourist”

Good central location. Quite a small hotel, seems to be family-run? Staff not particularly friendly at first, but gradually thawed out. Nice to have a pool, pity weather was a bit too cold to use it!
