“Wonderful hotel, wonderful experience”
Beautiful room, Tuscan building. Breakfast room nearby with a very satisfactory assortment for complimentary breakfast. A little trouble figuring out the jacuzzi tub and had a little splash over, but the staff were helpful. The price was incredibly reasonable for such a nice place and luxury room. We couldn't have been happier.
“Good Walk to Town”
This hotel was just right for me. Arriving by motorcycle it is right off 101 (south side just east on Dry Creek Road - don't pass it). Lets face it - you are here for wine tasting. Dry creek road and West Dry creek road are IT so you are right where you want to be if you are driving (and not drinking of course). Get your complimentary tasting tickets at the front desk. Check out the Caves at Bella at the end of West Dry Creek Road. Also the tasting is free at Raymond Burr - yep - old Ironsides, Perry Mason etc built this place. Now, after a long day in the Goldwing saddle, I like walking, and it is about 1 mile south to the square where you should eat at Bistro Ralph - not cheap but a great selection of wines and great menu. I know - get over the name. Next morning rent bicycles from Wine Country Bikes - very nice folks outfit you for a day of tasting on 2 wheels! I took a $10 morning cab from the hotel 1.5 mi south to the bike shop on Front Street, but you'll want to walk back after returning the cycles at 4:30 pm because there is wine tasting in that same building. Then walk 300 m- you'll be tasting at Longboards which closes at 6pm and then McWilliams seemed to close at 7pm. You will need to walk it off, but get crab cakes at Johnnys Foods kitty corner from the hotel and heat in the microwave for snacks. The hotel had a nice lobby with cozy chairs, and very friendly helpful staff. No way $$$ staying in town again. Better to walk it off from the DK Inn.
“Truly affordable luxury”
You know you're staying somewhere special when everyone is taking pictures of the hotel and the inside of his or her room. Beautiful outdoor spaces in the Tuscan wing, complete with fireplaces, fountains, and cast stone detailing on every surface. Thoughtful interior design of the large rooms with shutters, a corner fireplace, and large bathroom, all done in rich but subdued colors. Very private balcony with stone balustrades and hand-painted patio table. Two heated pools, three hot tubs, steam and sauna. The breakfast is limited, but often hotels with restaurants on site offer no free breakfast at all. I'd spend a month there if I could.
“Well Worth It!”
Warm reception by all staff. They were welcoming and cared about doing a good job! The property was clean and the room a big surprise! We booked the Tuscan King with fireplace...room was spacious with a large jacuzzi tub and a separate shower. It also had two sinks in the bathroom. Wireless, continental breakfast, parking were complimentary. The person in charge of the breakfast room was efficient, friendly, on top of things. Spills were cleaned up immediately, supplies were replenished in timely manner...no waiting! Outstanding! We will recommend this hotel to everyone planning to stay in Healdsburg!
“Very Good Deal!!”
Great room! Loved the jacuzzi tub, the steam room and sauna. Would definitely stay again.
“Great place to stay”
I love staying here when I come down to visit family. It is clean, comfortable, and I feel safe traveling alone. Adel's is next door for good family style food. Rooms are quiet and beds are comfy. HIghly recommend this hotel.
“Great Off Season Deal”
Stayed in a Tuscan room and it was very nicely decorated and had a jacuzzi tub. I understand that rates go up drastically during high season, but in the off season this was a real deal. My only complaint was that the in room heater/air conditioner remote was difficult to figure out and the unit had a disturbing grinding noise that came on after about 5 minutes. After turning it on and off a couple of times it quieted down and I could get back to sleep. Beautiful rooms, hot tub and pool.
“Italy comes to Dry Creek”
The Dry Creek Inn was the find of the year! They have brought Italy to Dry Creek. Our room was beautiful. King bed with a fireplace and garden jet tub. The building architecture and grounds were astonishing. The location is in the heart of Dry Creek and Russian River wineries. Would recomend this location to anyone! It is a must stay hotel! The price was great, service was great! WE CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!
“Will stay again.”
Very happy with every aspect of this hotel. This is my second stay and will stay there again.
“Great place to stay........ we will be back!”
The room was Awesome! A fireplace, jacuzzi tub and a king size bed, you really cant ask for more.
